Donald Trump laced into the hosts of MSNBC's morning show anew on Monday, accusing one of co-hosts of being "neurotic" and a "mess" and both of them as being "two clowns."
"Tried watching low-rated @Morning_Joe this morning, unwatchable! @morningmika is off the wall, a neurotic and not very bright mess!" Trump tweeted Monday, referring specifically to Mika Brzezinski, in response to the first hour and 20 minutes of MSNBC's "Morning Joe."
Minutes after his initial tweet, Trump offered another personal broadside.
"Some day, when things calm down, I'll tell the real story of @JoeNBC and his very insecure long-time girlfriend, @morningmika. Two clowns!" Trump tweeted, a day after campaign manager Kellyanne Conway insisted that he "doesn't hurl personal insults."
The show offered its usual criticism of the GOP nominee, returning from one commercial break to the tune of "Everything Is Awesome" from "The Lego Movie," as a clip of Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus telling ABC on Sunday that Trump had a "great week" and is "getting into a groove."
"Everything's awesome," Brzezinski said. "Everything's awesome," co-host Joe Scarborough repeated.

Who needs a connection?
She is wearing a Make America Great Again hat, if you insist. :=)
This should have been a cake walk for the Republicans.
With 90%+ of the media being heavily biased in favor of Dems, there were no circumstances under which this would have been a cakewalk for any of the Republicans.
Like I say, I had to scroll up just to see the hat she’s wearing. Glad she’s a Trump girl.
Then I scrolled right back down again!
;^)
Great points, Liz. I remember that Joe & Mika Trump slobberfest, too.
What with their personal dalliances - who knows what’s next for these two flip floppers.
“RATs and gutless RINOs need to get used to getting a dose of what their dish out only more direct and stronger, ya think?”
Yes, WE think!
When the media picks up on this story it’ll be all we’ll hear about for the next week. Once again Trump’s lets petty BS about him get under his skin. All the liberal stations try to lure him into a trap and make him look like the bad guy and once again it’s worked. No bigger Trump fan that I am, but he’s his own worst enemy and if he loses it’s because of garbage like this. He needs to forget about the media. They hate him, it’s not going to change. His “inability to stay on message” is all in the hell we’ll hear about for the next week and it’ll be pounded 24/7 and by next Monday will be affecting his poll numbers. Mark it down.
He is 88 years old.
I don't think in this case he needed any oppo research. He and Scarborough Unfair have known each other a long time.
You're a certified heterosexual, then.
I've often had that thought while watcing him, but his Wikipedia page says he has a (female) wife, and he is an uber Catholic. He was Laura's co-author on her Zing! book.
He hammers home the point that the media are dishonest.
That’s has always been Trump MO.
She wouldn’t have been my pick, but history has shown Donald knows what he’s doing, so I’ll trust him on picking her.
Good grief!! Now MY blood pressure is up! Thank ewwww!
Agreed! Trump did not get where he is, by being a middle-of-the-road kind of guy!
He may just be affected; but my gaydar goes wild on him.
We agree on the importance of Trump prevailing - we just disagree on how it can happen. But that’s ok.
I think your analysis of 1992 and Bush’s inability to connect is historically accurate, but unfortunately, there is a very irrational force at work in politics, namely, the utter double standard that holds republicans accountable for silly things like ‘tone’ and ‘ability to connect’, while holding democrats accountable for nothing.
As long as the democrats and their media dogs are allowed to define the terms of debate the republicans will lose.
2016 is about a rare republican (Trump) who is not going to play according to the usual rules, and refuses to submit to democrat and media idea of what is polite, what is presidential, what is PC.
My gut tells me Trump will mostly do the right things once in office - namely fire a bunch of bureaucrats, reform tax, regulatory, appoint good judges. But I don’t trust the average voter to elect him based on straight forward promises to do those things - he has to figure out how to win an election.
Personally I don’t think I’d know how to do it. Voters are too stupid. How do you figure out what to say that will get enough support from various factions without pissing off some other faction?
Trump is a winner, I’m hoping he’ll figure out how to win. And then once he wins I’m hoping he’ll figure out how to clean up some of the mess. I know Clinton would be horrible.
Go Trump!
Same here. Must be because, his Wiki page say, he “studied with Stella Adler.”
Oh, that means he audited with her, lol. She didn’t let any guy in to study who wasn’t as macho and handsome as Paul Newman and Brando. I know! I used to sit in in her classes.
