I don't know much about these guys, their staff or their particular brand of politics. But I sense some sort of group-think mindset that comes off like they're some kind of political cult. Am I over-reacting?
I was being critical of some of the neverTrump entries. I thought it was pretty mild. Apparently someone else did not. No explanation was offered.
They’re GOP establishment guys. In other words, liberals that have been selling us down the river for a long time.

Once Trump is elected, he needs to bulletproof himself from the establishment and the hard left. Hopefully he will have enough allies in congress to prevent a revolt. Once he has that, next thing is reverse all of Obama’s edicts. Then shut down the EPA and other departments that do nothing for American business.
After lunch he can start working on the wall. By then, every illegal will have started to migrate south. Finally, take apart piece by piece every left wing anti-American organization that is getting taxpayer dollars followed by any prosecuting every Soros funded organization for treason.
Last thing to do before he takes his bath and nap, settle all scores.
They realized that for the last few elections cycles the Republicans were designated with the color blue in all of the election graphics and the Democrats were always red.
Blue is normally a positive color associated with trustworthiness, stability, and loyalty. Red had lots of negative connotations associated with rebellion and Communism. Maybe the color red was the reason the Democrats weren't getting all the votes the MSM thought they deserved.
So the MSM announced that they would henceforth alternate the colors so that no party would get a psychological color advantage.
The Republicans were now red, and the states that supported them were now 'Red States'. But instead of feeling insulted, the Republicans accepted the new mantel and wore it with pride. They were now 'red meat' and 'red in tooth and claw' Republicans. They were not those pallid blue Dems.
But then what happened? Why didn't the MSM revert back to the other colors in four years like they had told us? It's because they loved the new dynamic. They were always more interested in the horse race than the horses. They had stirred up a wasps nest and now they could focus on the emotions rather than the facts and boring policy statements.
I really wish they would change the colors again. Then RedState, which should be relabeled PinkState, would have to give up its web address and sink into the obscurity it deserves.
I stopped going there after they refused to allow Trump to speak at the Red State gathering. I was still undecided at that time but did not like the censorship.
I got banned early into the primaries for politely disagreeing with the GOPe tool who’d written a really bad piece. Can’t say as I regret it lol.
