The experts have sclerosis of the mind. Everything they base their understanding on is going by what happened in the past. As a result they are always refighting the last war. When change happens, they are particularly unfit to see it or understand it. They are true establishment creatures in that way - their understanding comes from studying what happened before but they don’t have the imagination of flexibility of mind to see something that is different - so they reject it out of hand.
This is very common and it plagues all “experts”. Karl Rove is maybe the perfect example of this. Their reliance on polls for their understanding - which are conducted and analyzed in the same manner they’ve always been conducted analyzed, constructs of a past event - is another function of the blindness.
If today is just like yesterday, then they will indeed be “experts” all the time. If today is different than yesterday, they will simply look foolish.
Yup I am out with both of them. WJC made Rush his millions. I don’t know if El Rushbo is a smart business man or if he at least used to believe what he says.

I just don't see Trump's supporters taking it for granted. They (we!) were with him at his darkest moments when they tried to assassinate his character with that Billy Bush tape and we remained with him. We saw how brutal and corrupt Clinton is and how ruthless. I just don't see this group of people saying "well, I think this is done, I'll stay home."

I suspect the elections in Florida, North Carolina, Penn, Ohio, Michigan, Iowa will be called early for Trump, and if so then hitlery has no path to 270. By 10:30 the party at Trump Plaza is going to be in full swing.

100% agree. According to Rassmussen of the 88% of remaining voters 53% will vote Trump and 43% will vote Clinton.

They never went away. They just never had another candidate to vote for. The GOPe for the past 20 years could not give a flip about them and never asked for their votes.
So they just DIDN'T VOTE.
Sarah Palin could have brought them to the polls in 2008 but she was squashed by the McCain team.
A fried of ours is a life long Democrat who hasn't voted in a while because he could not stand who the democrats put up and the republicans didn't seem to care if he voted for them or not. He is voting DJT today.
Nephew who is part of the classic democrat demographic, young minority male in trade is voting DJT because, "You can't trust Hillary, they are taking all my money in taxes and I can't afford the Obamacare premiums for my wife and two kids."
