Budget bills originate in the House. Pass the bill and send it the Senate. If they do not pass it the US Senate will force the government to shut down by their inaction.
Call their bluff.

Spending bills originate in the House. The Senate has second say on the budget. So if Ryan says “wait”, we wait.

Suddenly the Republican members aren’t doing what RYNO wants them to do? Hmmm. Don’t trust RYNO! He lies and backstabs!

There is still a lot of RINO excrement in the swamp.
May they all fear for their careers.
As a start.

A contentious piece that has no impact. The budget will start in the House. As long as Ryan is in charge and keeps his word then the point is moot. I cannot see Ryan going against Trump and instigating something. Besides, how are they going to get a budget through the system by January and even if they ram something through (unpardonable sin) Trump could simply not spend the money.

Senator Lamar Alexander of Tennessee, another Republican on the Appropriations Committee, [said,] "I would think the last thing the Trump administration would want to do is spend time cleaning up an appropriations bill that was supposed to have been passed in the previous year under Obama," he said. I would think spending time cleaning up an appropriations bill that was "supposed" to have been passed in the previous year under Obama would be one of the first things the Trump Administration would want to do.

IIRC, Trump has already said to pass a short term spending bill.

The Senate RINO elite needs to line it’s pockets as much as it can and needs to fulfill promises made to it’s donors before Trump takes the reigns.

Meh - hopefully this is just token resistance by some of the GOPe beta males - trying to appear that they are NOT betas and immediately rolling over for Trump.
My prediction: they’ll talk & talk (which is what they’re REALLY good at) - and then wait for Trump...

The difference between Obama’s spending bill and Trump’s budget will be about 900 billion dollars.
To: Olog-hai
Trump doesn’t have a 2017 budget bill. We’re already in FY 2017. Trump’s first budget will be 2018.
