Actor Tom Arnold said in an interview aired Sunday night that he received a desperate phone call from failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton two days before the 2016 election asking for help.
Arnold made the claim on the Australian reality television show "I'm a Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!" to another contestant, Nazeem Hussain, the Independent Journal Review reported. Arnold said that Clinton asked him to release a video of Donald Trump from "Celebrity Apprentice" that showed Trump using derogatory terms for African Americans and women.
"Hillary Clinton called me two days before the election and said, ‘Please release that,'" Arnold said. "The weight of the free world is on your shoulders."
"Hillary Clinton called you up?" Hussain asked.
"Yes, and I said, ‘I–let me think about it, but I'd love to be a hero, but I can't hurt these families,'" Arnold said.
The actor added that he believes even if the tapes were released before the election, Trump still would have won.
Arnold has known Trump for about three decades but supported Clinton during the election.
In October a tape emerged of Trump making vulgar comments about women while behind the scenes for "Access Hollywood." Many commentators thought at the time that the release of the tape would be a near fatal blow to Trump's campaign, but a month later, he upset Clinton to win the White House.

This is probably BS to keep his flailing career going. Although the idea that Hillary Clinton would be so desperate and panicked that she would call Tom Arnold to beg him to release a video is pretty amusing.

If true, it shows how desperate Team Hitlery was in the last week. Go back and look at all her scrambling, all her pathetic celebrity endorsements, all of the attack ads. They knew it wasn’t in the bag. But I bet the wicked witch herself didn’t know. Mook didn’t have the balls to tell her. Neither did Podesta.
And by the way, I doubt he spoke to Hitlery. A couple of levels below for deniability purposes.
