Will people get bitcoin accounts???? Bitcoin is outside the banking systems and out of the reach of government isn’t it?
I guess so. I’m not exactly a whiz with technology, and I don’t pretend to understand how Bitcoin works.
Maybe I better study up.
Don’t know where you are, but 0bama’s gig economy is all around the South. Only folks with 9 to 5s are cashless, gig folks are strictly cash.
Want your house painted, cash. Want your roof fixed, cash. Want your driveway paved, cash, lawn cut, cash, etc., etc. The dealership will fix your car and take electronic payment, Bubba will do it on the weekend for cash at 1/2 the price (his day job is working at the dealership).
Pay by check and the price nearly doubles, EFT payment, nope.
So they won't come down...
(s)oh joy, another click bait “the economy is doomed buy gold from us” thread(/s)
This source says Nixon did not stop the printing; he ordered them withdrawn from circulation.
President Nixon issued an executive order July 14, 1969, initiating withdrawal from circulation through the Federal Reserve of high-denomination notes above $100.
Ping.
I lost pretty much everything in the great recession. Been all cash ever since. Have not even had a bank account in 9 years. Grown to love it. Can see now the big bank credit card elitist scam. I do have a Wal-Mart Money card. If they ever do go cash less it’s over. Thank God again for trump. He is our wall. ....
Notice that this is bankers and 'Big Money' talking about our income.
These are the same people who will do the 'skimming off the top' in miscellaneous fees, with the permission of the FED government .
And because it might raise the government take of taxation (in India, raised 14.5% taxation), the Federal government will probably go along with it.
It is much easier for government to reach into your account and just remove some digital integers.
This would leave the only other acceptable currencies of precious metals and barter.
One of the costs, of course, being Freedom.
No thanks.
Can you imagine a cashless society? No man will be able to do buy or sell without the state's permission (the mark of the beast).
Sounds like a formula for slavery to me. It should be resisted to the utmost. Can you imagine the control the state would have, if they can "turn off" any citizen's ability to buy or sell? It's already getting close to that.
It's authoritarian garbage, and I don't give a damn how efficient it is, it will always be an abomination, at least in the form these totalitarians envision it...
Quiet Victory for Elites Accelerates Cashless Agenda
" Once the leftists force the people to stop using cash, they will see all transactions.
This will enable them to skim as much money as they want from transactions and bank balances.
They will have the ability to take your money and put it into the accounts of the poor oppressed minorities."

Thanks, Tilted Irish Kilt.
Just one more evil Globalist scheme to make sure they know exactly what you are doing with your money. How much ammo you have bought, what sort of guns, how much food etc.
Thanks for the ping. “It’s all about money, ain’t a damn thing funny.”

We’ve already had it since 1986. All people have to do is use it. People either aren’t aware of it, or they don’t care and are ready to embrace their chains when cash is restricted/abolished...
