Quiet Victory for Elites Accelerates Cashless Agenda

World leaders and economists are pushing harder than ever toward a cashless society. With anti-cash measures already being tested in Europe and the Third World, it’s only a matter of time until the global elite push for the same in the U.S. Will globalists’ dream of a cashless society soon become reality?

Plotting in Switzerland

Last month, members of the World Economic Forum, more commonly known as the Davos Elite, met for their annual gathering in Switzerland, and the pursuit of a global cashless society was a major topic on their agenda.

Nobel Prize-winning economist Joseph Stiglitz, a key member and figurehead for the group, made several statements indicating their intensifying push to eliminate cash. And another major economist from the group, Kenneth Rogoff, echoed similar sentiments.

Ross Chainey writes:

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has already removed 86% of his country’s currency from circulation in an attempt to curb tax evasion, tackle corruption and shut down the shadow economy.

Should the US follow suit?

Joseph Stiglitz, Nobel Prize-winning economist, thinks so. Phasing out currency and moving towards a digital economy would, over the long term, have “benefits that outweigh the cost,” the Columbia University professor said on day one of the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos.

“I believe very strongly that countries like the United States could and should move to a digital currency,” he said, “so that you would have the ability to trace this kind of corruption. There are important issues of privacy, cyber-security, but it would certainly have big advantages.”

Stiglitz is not the only Davos economist to make the case for a “less-cash” society. Harvard’s Kenneth Rogoff has argued for two decades that a society awash with cash contributes to the growth of the underground economy. Rogoff believes large-denomination bank notes, rarely used by ordinary people and businesses, should be phased out. “Cash facilitates crime because it is anonymous, and big bills are especially problematic because they are so easy to carry and conceal,” he says in this article.

India and the E.U. Show How It Begins

The global power structure isn’t just talking about a cashless society anymore. After quietly preparing for years, they’re finally starting to see the fruits of their labor.

India is already being touted as a poster child for the cashless movement after Prime Minister Narendra Modi pulled a staggering 86% of his country’s cash from circulation, effectively boosting tax revenue by 14.4%.

Now Europe wants to get in on the action: The E.U. already halted production of its €500 banknotes, and it just announced intentions to lower its existing €1,000 maximum on cash transactions. The new maximum is yet to be determined.

A Refuge From the Tightening Financial Grid

Maintaining control of your money is key to guarding your freedom, so it goes without saying that the cashless agenda poses as a direct threat to your freedom. With several victories under their belt, the global elite are charging full speed ahead.

Is there any way for you to “opt out” of this coming movement?

We believe that there is. As cash starts disappearing, precious metals will be one of the best ways to manage your savings outside the system.

But remember, gold and silver are limited resources, and prices will rise as people use them to flee from the cashless movement. Once the shelter is full, so to speak, your chance to get inside may never return.

It looks like we may have to use cocaine and cigarettes as currency one day.

This must be stopped. Once the leftists force the people to stop using cash, they see all transactions. This will enable them to skim as much money as they want from transactions and bank balances. They will have the ability to take your money and put it into the accounts of the “poor” “oppressed” minorities.

Not only that, but it would also allow banks to charge “negative interest” on your accounts for the luxury of holding your money. Stay tuned.

Trump should issue and executive order to the treasury to restart the printing of $500 notes.

$500 is worth less than a $100 note was 40 years ago.

Nixon stopped printing of the $500 and $1000 notes by an executive order, Trump could restart them with an executive order.

This will not end well.

The barter society will rage with this.

How will I loan a buddy $20 with this system? Wouldn’t he need some way to accept my credit card?

Civilization has used a cash system for thousands of years. Doubt this will change anytime soon.

It’s time to move to a precious metal cash system. A copper $1 coin, a $10 silver coin, a $100 gold coin, and a $1000 platinum coin. Eliminate cents completely.

I recently loaned a friend $600. Took it out of my cash stash and gave it to her. She said.....I’ll write you a check on x date when I get paid. I said no, I gave you cash I want cash back. Lol
She paid me cash on the agreed upon date. No one the wiser.

I have my doubts that the cashless economy will come to the USA.

How will the politicians be bought off? What will our elected officials use to buy their ready-made prostitutes and drugs without a trace?

Until they figure that out - cash is king.

Are you serious? Was that at the same time we were taken off the gold standard?

Watergate was the least of RMN’s offenses.

Rev 13:17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Old news.

...looks like all that toilet paper I put by a couple of years back — and there’s a LOT of it — and all those 100 watt tungsten light bulbs I bought in a rage against George Bush’s suggestions (I hate them Diary Queen curly glass glow bulbs that make all that radio interference and drown out my shortwave reception) -— yep, that T.P. and them bulbs shortly gonna BE money.

‘Cause the Lord knows, with all them TeeVee watchin’ maroons buying all that TeeVee gold and silver — well, hell’s bells, buys Uncle Sap is gonna declare that stuff all illegal contraband fer sure.

Yep. Cigateets, T.P., light bulbs, and old hand tools...

THAT’S the Money Of The Twenty-First Century!!

Tamp ‘em up solid...

This will never happen; the desperation to ignore borders in the quest to replace dying and migrating populations has created a class of stateless nomads that deal strictly in cash. They work for it, pay their bills with it, and have no interest in the government (wherever they live) knowing about any of it.

NJ has so many illegals and others working “under the table”, many paying cash to rent unauthorized apartments or just rooms in homes dwindling American families no longer fill. Any attempts to force these people into the system are unsuccessful; they stick their nose in far enough just to get free sh!t, that’s all.

It will happen very soon because people actually don't use cash or checks either for that matter for anything other than a small purchases like a candy bar. All bills that can be paid with Bill Pay or Pay Pal or some other method are already so popular you can't undo them. Income is almost all direct deposit and will soon be required. Cautious people like yourself have already began gathering up silver coins which will work for a while but like Roosevelt removed gold, silver will be removed too.

$100 gold coin

1/13 oz pretty easy to lose I would think. Silver Eagles go for about $20.00 Gold Eagles are about $1,250.00. Platinum is cheaper than Gold right now.

Live Prices for gold, silver, platinum
