There is NO consequence of repealing Obamacare that is worse than keeping it one more day.
At a current cost of $400,000 per "insured" each day is throwing more good money after bad.
It cannot be "fixed" with RinoCare, and anything they change can be put back into it by a next Congress.
Repeal every word of 0bamacare.
While repeal can’t be worse, Ryancare might be.
The most important aspect of a full repeal is eliminating all the federal agencies and the power they derive from controlling health care and most importantly everyones health records.
It is that infrastructure of Fedzilla that Ryancare preserves that must be eliminated.
The attendants of Fedzilla in Congress do not want to ever reduce any power for Fedzilla.
Every day Obamacare remains law we are throwing more and more money down a hole
There is no consequence of repeal that is worse than keeping it.
> There is no consequence of repeal that is worse than keeping it.
Yep.
We all agree with you and we’re very excited to know you found 60 votes for your plan.
RINOcare doesn’t even have 51 votes.
Ryancare is not repeal.
Whatever is passed by the GOP will be the GOPs problem.
A plan that uninsures 26 million people is death to the GOP.
RinoCare is a disaster for the GOP.
Who cares about how much it costs a day. Let's imagine a two plans:
PLAN RINO: Absolutely balances the budget, adds nothing to the deficit. Reduces coverage, benefits, and costs more.
PLAN DONKEY: Covers lots of people, does lots of free stuff for most people. Blows up the deficit by millions.
We could go back to losing elections, and let the Demes run things.
This is pathetic, I realize, but it's reality.
Nope.
See my previous post.
Go away stupid
It is your kind of “we need to compromise to get 60 votes” asinine thinking that gets us compromising leftward over and over and over...
They crammed it down our throats with only 51 votes- let them repeal it the same way.
You missed the results of the last election, didn’t you?
Trump won... Repealing Obamacare does not “un-insure” 20 million people... that is a liberal talking point.
The people it has insured are paying 3 times the price for less ‘care’ - “un-insuring” them and going back to the starting point would be doing them a favor.
You need to go read the precise process of 2010. You don’t understand what happened.
It’s funny how it’s gone from REPEAL to negotiations with paul ryan for his better way plan...
Bttt
Life isn't a video game. You can't go back 7 years by hitting the red X button 7 times.
Trump has already taken some steps to ameliorate the most horrible Obamacare problems: for instance the tax punishment is essentially revoked.
But, whether you believe it or not, a pure "repeal" without a "replace" isn't possible. The old market is dead and can't be revived.
Repeal and Replace was the promise, not just "repeal". Ryan has had his shot, and failed, to define replace. Time for someone else to step up.
Another month or two of working on it is nothing compared to doing a good job.
Nope. I saw them. Trump won, in large part by appealing to Rust Belt voters who tend Democratic and are concerned about things like affordable health care. Trump promised over and over more and better health care, not implementing Ryan's "Ayn Rand style" survival of the fittest Health Care plan.
Repealing Obamacare does not un-insure 20 million people... that is a liberal talking point.
No, it's the Congressional Budget Office's number. The CBO is part of the House, which Paul Ryan runs, it's a non-partisan but controlled by the GOP. No way you can make that a "liberal talking point".
If the CBO is too liberal, well that's Paul Ryan's fault too, he's been Speaker for a year, why didn't he fix that?
David Frum article on the current Obamacare repeal crisis of the GOP
Ultimately what you are saying isn't going to happen. That's just a fact.
I understand EXACTLY what happened... they crammed something we didn’t want down our throats...
What I don’t understand is how they can’t seem to undo something NO ONE WANTED
