If the earth is destroyed it must be God’s will.

First, get 7 billion earth inhabiting humans in line. If you need the 300 million U.S. citizens (and 20 million illegals) to make it work, we’ll see.

No. Global Warming is a hoax.

Global Warming is off the agenda. It's "Climate Change" now. Say no more, say no more.

If the earth is destroyed it must be God’s will.

And everything happens for a reason.

I assume he's referring to the 11th commandment "Thou shalt watch thy carbon footprint, and see thou makest it small".

Took the church nearly 2,000 to figure out the sun did not revolve around earth so, their scientific accumen and timing are bit defective...

Hey Pontiff...

The answer is in your basement files....

Take a look at the indictment of one Galileo Galilei around 1611

So we have a record of sunspots from about that time

One of Galileo's sunspot drawings, from 23 June 1612

And take a look at the snowfall records of that time

During the "Little Ice Age", Frost Fairs were held on the thick ice of the River Thames

In this 1677 painting by Abraham Hondius, 'The Frozen Thames,

So..expect another ice age shortly....as the Sun isn't making hardly any sunspots these days.

Took the church nearly 2,000 to figure out the sun did not revolve around earth

It took mankind that long, and the Church was actually funding a lot of that research.

As for the present Pope, he's a Leftist, so what do you expect?

I always think of the Sept. “Single topic issue” of Scientific American, back in the 1970’s, on Global Population, which was declared in a blurb to be “without meaningful historical precedent”. Of course, the situation was considered dire, but we seem to have survived to a point, forty years later, with even MORE dire numbers, without having perished ... is this cause for comfort ???

Will the Pontiff heed Trump's warning that he should concern himself with the spiritual well being of the Catholic Church first and not stick his nose into questionable issues like global warming???

Galileo declared himself, “A loyal son of the church”, and remained steadfast in this, AFAIK. If he was treated badly, as seems evident, the fact remains that it was Roman Catholic society and culture which gave us heliocentrism, and modern science, to boot.

why didn’t the MSM report that the Vatican summary of the meeting made no mention of “climate change”?
instead they framed the meeting as being all about the manmade global warming hoax?

everyone in the media pool would definitely have received the summary, so there’s no excuse for not reporting it:

24 May: America Magazine: Gerard O’Connell: ‘I won’t forget what you said,’ Trump tells pope after meeting at Vatican
According to a summary provided by the Holy See, the pope and president talked, among other things, about “the promotion of peace through negotiation and inter-religious dialogue, with special reference to the Middle East and the protection of Christian communities.”...

Surprisingly, the summary included no mention about “care for our common home” or climate change, but that does not mean the issue was not addressed in the two conversations that lasted a total of 80 minutes...

I’m not clear on what Bergoglio was on about, but I’d probably recommend doing the opposite. #FalsePope

That is a glib answer. Truly, I would investigate and be wary of anything he said. The climate changes...Naturally.

So, climates may be changing (as they say now), but I reject the Glabalists’ reasons.
