Crime expands according to our willingness to put up with it

The Democrats are a network of criminals who seek to sabotage this past election using the press, various progressive organizations and George Soros NGO’s. Their deceptive practices are direct assaults on our electoral process and threatens the stability of our republic. Their “Resistance” supported by powerful Democrats and their activists, use inciting rhetoric fomenting violence leading to attempted assassinations of dozens of GOP congressman by Bernie Sanders supporter, James T. Hodgkinson.

Although the Trump-Russia narrative of collusion has been dispelled by lack of evidence, it still makes headlines. Although Lyin’ Chuck Schumer kept repeating a lie, there was never a FBI investigation of President Trump. The Democrats and their media complex run with fake news in order to run away from the long list of potentially criminal and unethical activities of their friends in the Democrat Party.

In Japan I had sort of long hair and I rode a motorcycle.

one morning I didn’t have very much time my hair was still wet, I didn’t want to wear my helmet during the first part of my ride which is technically illegal.

the first driver behind me who saw me started leaning on their horn repeatedly.

That’s just one tiny example.

Japan tolerates very little deliberate law-breaking, as a result it’s more less a paradise for cops.

the citizenry mostly police themselves.

When did New York City finally turn around and start getting cleaned up?

when they rigorously busted the squeegee guys, turnstile jumpers and graffiti artists.

It sent a signal to all the scumbags and potential scumbags.

the vast majority of ‘criminals’ these days are non-violent drug offenders.

does anyone think this is a good use of our resources ?

I concede that there are few examples of law-abiding people busted for a joint or two and are sent away.

I dislike those stories.

in the vast majority of cases in which you find a person in prison for a long time purely on drug charges, though, the story was different:

the cops couldn’t bust the offender on some violent charge because of the fear of a potential witness to testify. Or a bust could not occur because they didn’t catch him in the violent act. Or simply because the bar for guilt a finding is so very much higher.

so a lot of times to simply get his violence off the streets cops will pick them up on a drug charge; he is carrying the product on his person and a finding of guilt is easy.

in other words it’s a tool the authorities use.

A lot of guys sent up the river for a very long time on drug charges will have you believe they never ever struck another person, never killed another person, never stole stuff, and in the vast majority of cases that’s just wrong.

It also expands in response to tepid punishment.

We need to reinstate the pillory and gruesome public hangings.
