Why the did the Russians go after CNN, because they are an easy target, the Russians know Trump is too dangerous to mess with they don’t want to get on his bad side.

I read several years ago that CNN provides the TVs and does all of the cable/wiring in the airports. In exchange, the airport bars/restaurants agree to tune in to CNN.
I have a cabin in the deep woods so far out cable is impossible. All the TV stations are 50 miles out but I threw up an old garage sale tv antenna hoping to get a station for background noise. I got 33 with 10 clear signals.
Went out and bought a uhf fringe and a preamp and now have 20 solid channels that come in much better than dish, some HD.
Total investment 75 bucks. No monthly bills anymore. Get CBS abc nbc and fox. A couple of movie channels and lots of reruns and classics. My farthest cleat HD quality station os 89 miles away.
The picture is much cleaner than cable and dish. Guys, ya’all need to discover FREE TV! It I can get this much in my bug out hangout what can you get?!

We live on a small hill.
Unfortunately, some very big hills are between us and the tv stations. So we and our neighbors get nothing from antennas.
We have friends a half mile away, and they get great reception for a small one time investment.

My cabin is in the mountains with the small hills between. Just the opposite. Sorry to hear it. UHF is very line of sight.
How much of their remaining meager ratings are from being on 24-7 at airports, restaurants, and bus stations who have no idea what else to broadcast...

Our Comcast plus internet was going up to $255 with the 2nd $25 this year. We watch 7-8 channels. We tried a couple of indoor antennae, and they didn’t work. Our neighbor whose home is higher tried an outdoor antennae as well as the two that failed here, and nothing worked.
However, there is a mini boom with people with a clear line of sight to the broadcast towers, going back to the outdoor tv antennae in many parts of our town.

Wow at that price it’s extortion. The used video bin at thrift stores is our friend. That’s why we have a dual box with a vcr.
Our Internet is through a cell phone set to hotspot. We have a cell amplifier for that. For me the only thing tv channels are good for is the news but the leftist sheeple have made that enraging not enlightening. So FReeper is my mews fix.

Many Comcast subscribers have it paid each month by credit card or directly by their bank.
I had a few relatives challenged me re our monthly costs of Comcast.
After I challenged them, if they have had the service for 2 years or more, their monthly Comcast bill was more than ours, and they didn’t know/realize it. One couple’s bill was just under $300. The husband has been laid off, and they were trying to cut monthly expenses and for some reason ignored their Comcast bill.
All of them from AT&T to Comcast to Direct Tv to ??? have huge monthly bills with a few actual channels watched.
