I never argued otherwise.
Nor did I argue that he should not be deported.
My argument is that men like him from European nations should be give preference by our immigration policy.
We should not be giving preferences to the useless, the criminal and the depraved.

Gee, it only took them 10 years to deport him.
At this rate we won’t even rid our country of the thugs and murderers.

a case that has generated fear and anxiety within the states sizeable Irish expat community.
If they're here legally, they don't have a single thing to fear or be anxious about. Fear and anxiety about the US enforcing it's immigration laws always comes from illegal aliens and their enablers.

Who was in office the majority of those 10 years?

It also proves that Trump’s deportation policy isn’t racist. Look, we sent a European back to Europe!

Oh, I thought this was a story about Obama’s Aunt Zetuni, his uncle, and their overstay and welfare lifestyles. Never mind.

I live near Boston and read most all the news stories about this guy. They said he was a licensed electrician but was not a licensed electrical contractor. He may not have shown up in court as he would have been questioned about his lack of that license His business website has nothing about "Licensed and Insured" as most all legal electrical contractors have on their websites.
So say you need a new 200 amp panel and the prices from local licensed contractors seem too high. Some neighbor tells you to call this Cunningham guy and he gives you a much lower quote so you have him do it. A few months later, sloppy wiring on the panel causes a fire and does substantial damage to your home. You have homeowners insurance and file a claim. They tell you you are not covered as you used an unlicensed and uninsured contractor.

That was my thought, too. At least he was earning a living and not on the dole. However, he was taking employment from the native born citizenry.

Sloppy reporting here. He came in for 90 days because the Irish are visa waiver for tourism. Visa Waiver differs from the a regular visa, no extensions or adjustment of status allowed. There have been many cases of Brits and Germans etc coming in visa waiver, marrying a USC and then trying to file for green card. No can do, have to leave the country, file and come back in under the proper visa category.

How about the guy claims to have an "electrical contracting" business but has no electrician's license, has no business license at all, has been sued for shoddy work and not finishing a job, paid no taxes, then refuses to appear in court to answer those charges just for starters.
Of course, if you apply for a 90 day Visa, then stay for 10 years, drive without a license, work as an electrician without having a license, pays no taxes, etc. I guess those facts alone might qualify as breaking a few laws, maybe even in your world, they certainly do in mine! I'd not categorize him as a "greenhorn," I'd just call him an illegal alien crook!
Lastly, just to top it all off, he gives an interview that runs on Irish TV bragging about being here illegally!

It used to be that way. Back in the 50’s when we immigrated from Scotland, Britain had a quota of something like 152,000 could come to the U.S. each year, and it was never filled. Germany had the second largest quota, and the quota was based on the predominant nationality then living in America. Brits had the most descendants, followed by Germany back then. The Kennedys changed it to the largest countries got the largest quotas, which changed the face of America. Last I heard, Britain, Germany, and all of western Europe had a yearly quota of only 10,000 and it was an average 10 year wait to get in.

It serves a purpose by shooting down the Moonbats' criticism that Trump is only enforcing immigration laws against Muslims.
It further serves notice to visa holders that they're being looked at... unlike the 19 expired visa Saudis who bombed us on 911.

None of the dems or the media understand the meaning of the words illegal, alien, immigrant.

He contributed a hell of a lot more than Obama’s aunt.
Wouldn’t it be apocalyptic is she was deported?
