Haslam(Tenn.) and Sandoval are popular Governors whose terms expire next year. Both senators could leave the Senate 'with honor.' Just get the hell out. Haslam runs for Corkers seat and Heller is spared the possibility of losing. But then what do I know?
I have also read that Corker may have a primary challenger. Whatever it takes to get them out of the Senate, it needs to happen. Also, Collins is considering a run for Governor in Maine. She has been a horrible Senator and has done a lot of damage to the country.

Corker, Flake, Heller and Hatch all voted for Rubio’s amnesty. They are all up in 2018.
We MUST remove from office those who have already betrayed us or we lose our country.
Take your suggestions and stuff it. Haslam is a Democrat in name only. I never voted for him and never would. He makes Corker look like Jesse Helms. BOTH need to go.
Sandoval had an opportunity to run for Senator last year and blew it.
As a resident of Tennessee, I don’t want that loser CORKER as governor !!!!!
I don’t want him as senator either!!!!!
“Corker, Flake, Heller and Hatch all voted for Rubios amnesty. They are all up in 2018.”
Corker’s primary, if he decides to run, will be the first time that I have ever given money for an out-of-state race...but I WILL be doing so. He participated not just in facilitating Iran getting nukes and $150 billion, but also in turning the Constitution upside down, allowing what is actually a treaty to get passed with only a 2/3 majority being able to override O’Moslem’s veto (which vote never occurred, for obvious reasons).
He doesn’t deserve to be elected as dog-catcher, but if I had to choose then I’d rather have him be the TN Governor, because then he can only screw up one state, rather than EFF up things on a national and international scale. Sorry, TN FReepers, you’ll have to take one for the team.
When Corker won his Senate seat in 2006, he didn’t get a majority of the vote in the Republican primary. He got a plurality. He won because Van Hilleary wouldn’t clear the board for Ed Bryant, therefore splitting the conservative vote. This time we not only need a single strong conservative to run, we could use a few moderates to run as well to split the moderate/big business/Rockefeller Republican wing vote.
Oh, and “NO” to Corker as Governor, and definitely “NO” to Haslam as Senator.
Haslam already has his choice in the Guv’s race, left-winger La Raza Randy Boyd. Conservatives support State Sen. Mae Beavers.
Corker would make a great Governor in that he can screw up the state as opposed to the country.
Thank you, we’ve already a string of $hit Governors of TN for 43 years, and we need someone competent for a change, so your “suggestion” is not appreciated.
No. The last thing we need are Senate vacancies. The most important outcome of the next election, which may be difficult, is to maintain control of the Senate so we can get Trump’s judges confirmed, which will not happen if the Dems get 51 seats. I will take ANY Rep over ANY Dem. RINOs vote for conservative judges.
Judicial appointments last for decades, and we need as many conservative ones as we can get, especially if they are of the Supreme Court variety.
Getting top-tier candidates to run is the problem. Give Collins 2 terms. It’s the best we can do. Murkowski? No excuse. Blame Palin. She has her money. Settle for 55 seats rather than 60 where the Mcains/Grahmnesties make a name for themselves. We will lose a couple but it’s worth it.
I am voting for Mae Beavers for Governor. PERIOD!
