What is the difference between Nazism and Communism?

Posted on 08/14/2017 7:25:38 AM PDT by bryan999

Getting sick of liberals telling me that "the right" = Nazis.

I have found that liberals twitch and sputter out of control when they're asked to describe the difference between Nazism and Communism. They can't seem to do it.... and it's usually because they don't have any clue whatsoever.

The answer is that there isn't much of a difference at all. Just different "flavors" really.

But despite all this, libs are quick to associate the so-called "right wing" and conservatives and Trump supporters with Neo-nazis??? How does that work ?

Has anyone seen the various "platforms" of some of these neo-nazi groups ? They read like Democrat platforms!

Ok, that is all... please discuss.....

And under Stalin, there was plenty of ethnic cleansing, as communities were completely uprooted and sent to Siberia, to be replaced with ethnic Russians.

Nazis/KKK, whatever, have been holding ralies for years without violent confrontation.  In this case, the violence was provoked.

Observe the conspicuous melatonin deficiency among these car-chasing SJW super geniuses:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YzhqO3iYlxk&feature=youtu.be&t=6595

The Lavender / Rainbow militia's traffic-blocking Useful Idiots are going to be in for a rude awaking as the process of normalization moves along...

YURI BEZMENOV:
No they serve purpose only [up] to the stage of destabilization of a nation.  For example, your leftists in [the]  United States; all these professors and all these beautiful civil rights defenders.  They are instrumental in the process of the subversion; only to destabilize a nation.  When the job is completed, they are not needed anymore.  They know too much.  Some of them, when they get disillusioned - when they see that Marxist-Leninist come to power.  Obviously they get offended; they think that THEY will come to power.  That will never happen, of course; they will be lined up against the wall and shot.  But they may turn into the most bitter enemies of Marxist-Leninists when they come to power;  and that's what happened in Nicaragua.  You remember most of these former Marxist-Leninists were either put to prison or one of them split and now he's working against the Sandinistas

It happened in Grenada when Maurice Bishop, he was already a Marxist - he was executed by the new Marxists who was more Marxist than this Marxist.

Same happened in Afghanistan, when, uh, first there was Taraki he was killed by Amin, then Amin was killed by Karmal with the help of KGB.

Same happened in Bangladesh where Mujibur Rahman, very pro-soviet leftist; was assassinated by his own Marxist-Leninist military comrades.

It's the same pattern everywhere.  The moment they serve their purpose, all  the useful idiots are either executed entirely; all the idealistically minded Marxists.  Or exiled, or put in prisons like in Cuba many former Marxists are in Cuba, and in prison.

So basically America is Stuck, with demoralization; and unless, even if you start right now this minute; you start educating new generation of Americans - it will still take you 15 to 20 years to turn the tide of uh, ideological perception of reality; uh back to normalcy and patriotism.

The result? The result you can see -- most of the people who graduated in the 60's, dropouts or half-baked intellectuals, are now occupying the positions of power in the government, civil service, business, mass media, and educational systems. You are stuck with them. You can't get rid of to them. They are contaminated. They are programmed to think and react to certain stimuli in a certain pattern [alluding to Pavlov]. You can not change their mind even if you expose them to authentic information.

Fascists allow “ private ownership” of imdustry and local political structures and services as long as the owners and politicians cooperate with the government Communists replace private ownership, and local government with government and party employees

Both are forms of Oligarchic Collectivist Kleptocracy.

“Think of them both as failed attempts to create perfect societies, with the same result but different goals.”

Yes, the left is at war with human nature. They believe that man can be ‘perfected’ through the force of an all powerful tyrannical gubbermint.

In theory, it’s the ownership of the means of production. In practice, not so much. In theory, one is nationalist and the other internationalist. In practice, not so much. In theory, a focus on race instead of class, as someone already mentioned. In practice, both of them hated the Jews. In theory, both are murderous totalitarian states organized around the collective and leaning away from individualism at every turn. In practice, one won WWII, one lost.

Another Jesuit "beautiful creation" was the indoctrination of Karl Marx - and others - in their collectivist serpentine enterprise.

Ask the "culture" of Jesuit M.B.A. Cube chasers running Colorado's 2nd largest (collectivist employee owned) bank how it works.

“Nazis have snappier uniforms.”

True. The German Army had great uniforms in WWII. The SS stuff was first rate.

I always think of a circle, with the Fascists going up the right side of the circle, and the Communists going up the left side. They each continue to rise on their own sides and eventually meet at the top -—and combine —— as one.

They are all just different shades of the same evil so in the end it doesn’t really matter.

“Both “socialism” and “fascism” involve the issue of property rights. The right to property is the right of use and disposal. Observe the difference in those two theories: socialism negates private property rights altogether, and advocates “the vesting of ownership and control” in the community as a whole, i.e., in the state; fascism leaves ownership in the hands of private individuals, but transfers control of the property to the government.

***Ownership without control is a contradiction in terms:*** it means “property,” without the right to use it or to dispose of it. It means that the citizens retain the responsibility of holding property, without any of its advantages, while the government acquires all the advantages without any of the responsibility.

In this respect, socialism is the more honest of the two theories. I say “more honest,” not “better” —because, in practice, there is no difference between them: both come from the same collectivist-statist principle, both negate individual rights and subordinate the individual to the collective, both deliver the livelihood and the lives of the citizens into the power of an omnipotent government—and the differences between them are only a matter of time, degree, and superficial detail, such as the choice of slogans by which the rulers delude their enslaved subjects.”

The difference is you never hear anyone say, "Sure Nazism failed, but that's because "real" Nazism has never been tried before."

Exactly. As Bryan99 pointed out, the opposite of collectivism, whether it calls itself socialism, communism, fascism, progressivism, or any other flavor, is anarchy, not another flavor of collectivism.

The great struggle of human society has been to find an effective balance between collectivism and anarchy. The US Constitution describes a wonderful compromise, far superior to the form of government we live under.

“Nazis have snappier uniforms.”

T totally agree! Not that I like Nazis but the undeniable fact (to me) is that U-Boat captains in their white hats, beards, and black leather jackets were among the sexiest looking men of the past 100 years!

Wouldn’t that be “Stalinism” as opposed to Communism?

Some would call it that. One of my great "What ifs?" is if it had been Trotsky that succeeded Lenin instead of Stalin, what would have happened. Trotsky was no saint neither. But I suspect the level of oppression in the Soviet Union would have been much less. But internationally, the Soviet Union may have wound up being an even greater threat, because Trotsky was more committed to World Revolution.

“The answer is that there isn’t much of a difference at all. Just different ‘flavors’ really.”

Yes, yes, yes!

I am so tired of cookie-cutter conservatives playing the leftist game of differentiating between the various flavors, as though it really makes a difference.

It is the Left that always seeks to proliferate new names for its various flavors, to disguise what they all have in common, and to confuse the ignorant with the extreme-left/extreme-right false dichotomy:

Totalitarianism is totalitarianism.

Death by a thousand cuts or death by one great slash is still bloody premature death by a sharp-edged weapon wielded by an evil entity.

Erik von Kuehnelt-Leddihn exposes these lies on Leftism in superb fashion.
