President Donald Trump's comments on Friday in Alabama that NFL teams should cut any player who protests during the national anthem left a bad taste in the mouths of many players, and it turns out multiple ownership groups took issue with his speech as well.
"Wouldn't you love to see one of these NFL owners, when somebody disrespects our flag, to say, 'Get that son of a b---- off the field right now," Trump said to a cheering crowd in Huntsville. "Out. He's fired. He's fired."
Commissioner Roger Goodell called out the president for his remarks, and players from Richard Sherman to LeSean McCoy and more shared their responses on Twitter. But they weren't alone in criticizing the president for his comments.
Giants owners John Mara and Steve Tisch released a statement Saturday:
"Comments like we heard last night from the president are inappropriate, offensive and divisive. We are proud of our players, the vast majority of whom use their NFL platform to make a positive difference in our society."(continued)

Fans should sell their season tickets and sit out the season. Cut back on the sponsors purchases, and those who go to the games should carry and wave American flags. We could contact George Soros and get the phone # to the violent anti-American thugs and have them disrupt the game along with BLM and PETA(why the hell not)

The leftist babies are getting their long overdue comeuppance and look how they cry and whine. I’ll enjoy doing things on Sundays that I put on the backburner for the NFL. No more. It means going to brunch more often. Going out with friends and family. Catching up on my reading. The hell with the NFL. They’ve lost millions of people with their antics and disrespect to our flag and our country. I heard a commentator on the radio refer to all this as the “wrath of the right”. It’s more like the wrath of the American people tired of their country being put down and insulted by other Americans!

The Giants got mail from long time season ticket holders stating that if even one Giant knelt for the Anthem, they would NEVER ATTEND ANOTHER GIANTS GAME AGAIN.

Last season, just kind of had a slight bitter taste watching the games. This season, I watched some out of habit, couldn’t do it, turned it off.
Question:
Have the owners decided to dump football and switch to soccer?
Form white, asian, hispanic, black teams that only play their own race and put ‘em all on streaming Youtube channels. NFL X 50 with wagering being the invisible hand.
The protests are what’s divisive, not the condemnation of them.
More targets and more media churn. Like an adolescent soccer team, the press chases the ball as one, then flocks to wherever to ball is kicked next. Trump floods the zone and the media takes off like the cowboy who ran out onto the porch, jumped on his horse, and rode off in all directions at once.
And when the press captures a desperate little soldier, they take him back and work him to death. Meanwhile, the country has moved on and doesn’t care anymore. And the tweet-storms, like fireworks in the sky, must make the fans in the stands say, “Ah.”
President Trump handed theses idiots a shovel and now they are happily digging the hole they are in so much deeper.
POTUS, Trump has just flushed these idiots NFL owners down the toilet. Can you imagine these blithering NFL owners & players buffoons fell for it, hook, line and sinker?
Bottom line: The Democrat Party, The NFL & the NBA are dying, committing professional suicide, with their own words, and actions!!!
Do you fools have any idea how many African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, Oriental Americans, Muslim Americans, Indian Americans, etc. gave the supreme sacrifice of life to insure that your morons could toss that football or basketball in a free United States of America. Shame on all of you America haters!!!

The NFL teams that I refuse to watch gets shorter and shorter.
