Radical activist against religious freedom nominated for EEOC role by Trump

President Donald Trump’s nominee for the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission is an open advocate for “sexual liberty” over religious freedom..

Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah) has called on Trump to withdraw her nomination, saying that her “radical views on marriage and the appropriate use of government power place her far Commissioner Chai Feldblum began serving on the EEOC under the Obama administration in 2010. Her second term will end this July.

Last year, Trump nominated her to a third term; if she is confirmed by the Senate, Feldblum will serve until 2023.outside even the liberal mainstream.”

Key quotes from Feldblum:

“I’m having a hard time coming up with any case in which religious liberty should win… Sexual liberty should win in most cases (emphasis added). There can be a conflict between religious liberty and sexual liberty, but in almost all cases the sexual liberty should win because that’s the only way that the dignity of gay people can be affirmed in any realistic manner.”

“I believe granting liberty to gay people advances a compelling government interest, that such an interest cannot be adequately advanced if ‘pockets of resistance’ to a societal statement of equality are permitted to flourish, and hence that a law that permits no individual exceptions based on religious beliefs will be the least restrictive means of achieving the goal of liberty for gay people (emphasis added).”

Whoever recommended this person to Trump needs to be fired.

Why is there an EEOC to begin with? Just leave the position open and defund this useless boondoggle.

#2: "Whoever recommended this person to Trump needs to be fired."

Bingo.

President Trump relies on subordinates to take care of many of the details. Clearly whoever slipped this one past him can not be trusted. Probably a holdover swamp rat.

President Trump still has a hell of a lot of swamp draining yet to do. The swamp is still pretty full, even a year after his inauguration.

If President Trump nominated her, I’m sure she’s the right person.

It seems that this Chai Feldblum is especially under attack by Mormons, as she is an advocate of “equality” in the recognition of gays and bisexuals as having “neutral” morality when it comes to military service, civil employment, or recognition of domestic unions, so long as it does not involve polygamous or polyandrous arrangements.

A Social Justice Warrior originally appointed by Bronco Bomba in 2009, she has done yeoman service on the EEOC, but then, the EEOC itself has questionable objectives. Perhaps this is Trump’s way of eventually invalidating EEOC altogether, leading to its dismantling.

Always look for the second objective in anything Trump does.

3-D chess, you know.

Obama put her there — twice.

Read her record. She’s a disaster.

I don’t give a sh*t about gay anything. It has no business in government and the Constitution gives EVERYBODY “equality” as AMERICANS.

You can’t be saying President Trump would make a bad decision. I think it’s part of a complex plan ... 9-dimensional chess. Smaller people just don’t get it.

There are no sarcasm tags on the many posts accusing anyone who disagrees with a Trump policy or decision of “treason.”
