Pelosi and Schumer declared victory on Friday following President Trumps fake veto, i.e. after The Donald signed a monster spending bill which blows the budget into oblivion. However, Trump promised this will never happen again after signing the 1.3 trillion dollars omnibus spending bill that was passed by the Republican dominated Congress. The omnibus bill does not address the border wall nor immigration issues. Trump complained that the Congress created a series of documents that nobody was able to read, hinting at the 2000+ pages of documents passed by the legislature, with lawmakers having less than 36 hours to read it. Needless to say, Democrats were celebrating on Friday at the news that Trump will sign the omnibus bill, as the POTUS initially announced he may veto the spending bill, yet he changed his mind and signed it after all, despite being unhappy about it, to quote the Presidents own words.

MITCH MCCONNELL and PAUL RYAN
Not President Trump.
Focus on the problem, not on the one guy that is on your side.
Geez!
.
You Cruznadiens lost. Go back to the woods with Shitlerey ...Blame this on the Turdle and worthless Ryan? Ya know Ryan, who got rolled by supah genius, one Patty Murray, on the Seekester ...
The house passed appropriations bills 190ish days ago, the senate has failed its job. We already know the solution, drop kicking the omnibuss bill process and going back to traditional appropriations bills. Multiple Bills and multiple signings
[Cruz would not have signed this bill]
Cruz would not have defeated Hillary.
Vetoing it would have disassociated Trump from it and energized his base. Now Trump is firmly attached to it and he’s delivered a gut punch to his base. There was no reason for him to sign it. There was even less reason for him to tweet about not signing it and then sign it the same day.
You know people have talked about how pissed off Trump looked.
I think he was going to veto it and then someone, probably Pence, pointed out it would pass anyway based on the votes totals.
I still think he should of vetoed it. Some times in politics fighting, and losing, is way better then not fighting at all.
Right on target ... Blame the Turdle and Eddie Munster ...
The vote totals indicated the veto would of been overridden.
I agree he should of vetoed it and made all the slime come back to DC to override.
Sometimes in life, fighting, and losing, is better than not fighting at all.
“Taking Trump to task for what is an obvious major setback is not tossing an election.”
a lot of these dumb posts are nowhere near that. Just the same jackasses that love to scream about “not voting” or “staying home”. Swear those people are too retarded for words.
Ryan and Turtle did not force Trump to sign this pile of crap. We aren’t talking about ‘16 here. We are talking about a mistake Trump made of his own volition, today.
Great! ....WHICH WAR?...
......President Trump JUST MASSIVELY FUNDED the DEEP STATE in their war against his most loyal supporters...
The GOP Congress is at fault here, not Trump.
I agree that staying home is not helpful.
It’s also not helpful to accuse people of being Hillary supporters or snowflakes when they are justifiably upset about probably the worst mistake Trump has made since being elected.
Yea, right. Give me a break.
Close, but not quite as bad. But he made a disastrous decision today when he signed the spending bill. Probably lost most of his base and signed his death warrant. Could face impeachment when new Congress takes over.
The rest of us will continue to be under the hands of corrupt and evil politicians.
A veto would not have accomplished anything if it was overridden.
He will remember this deal and there will be payback in the future.
It is called leverage.
A safe vote.
Just 17-D chess.
Yep, you’ll see this is 17.... no EIGHTEEN DIMENSIONAL CHESS!
/s
I think the 67-30 vote in the senate was significant as it signalled a way to override the veto... which no sitting president wants to have his veto over-ridden.
<<>>
He could hav e gone to the people asking them to vote only for candidates in the mid terms that supported the MAGA agenda, for which they voted for him.
I am sick and sad about this even though, at 84, I am not going to see much of the results of this boondoggle.
