The New Boss is Just the Same as the Old Boss? Trump Signs Monster Spending Bill

Pelosi and Schumer declared victory on Friday following President Trump’s fake veto, i.e. after The Donald signed a monster spending bill which blows the budget into oblivion. However, Trump promised  this will never happen again after signing the 1.3 trillion dollars omnibus spending bill that was passed by the Republican dominated Congress. The omnibus bill does not address the border wall nor immigration issues. Trump complained that the Congress “created a series of documents that nobody was able to read”, hinting at the 2000+ pages of documents passed by the legislature, with lawmakers having less than 36 hours to read it. Needless to say, Democrats were celebrating on Friday at the news that Trump will sign the omnibus bill, as the POTUS initially announced he may veto the spending bill, yet he changed his mind and signed it after all, despite “being unhappy about it”, to quote the President’s own words.

Maybe he’ll file for bankruptcy on behalf of the U.S. before his term is up?

Which leads to an interesting question. Did Trump read the whole thing?

I think the 67-30 vote in the senate was significant as it signalled a way to override the veto... which no sitting president wants to have his veto over-ridden.

Are DACA kids being sent back to their country?

Nope, they get to stay, go to school for free, take American jobs and pump out Anchor babies.

Yeah winning!!! Boy those Dems really got screwed.

All I can say is I’ll continue to trust him. He’s done some awesome things in 14 months. Some have compared him to and even said he was better than Reagan. “Win”, “Winning” were the 2 most popular words every time I read a post about his latest accomplishment. This is a bad bill. But he must have something up his sleeve. He’s not oblivious of his base.

If Trump loses his base, he’s finished.

He might have just lost his base.

It’s no small coincidence that Tillerson and McMaster are out and Bolton and Pompeo are in.

DJT is not Obunghole. He actually pays attention to his PDBs and is making changes for a wartime footing.

Today’s bill signing announcement was laser focused on fixing our military for war.

Did you hear his press conference? He was promoting DACA more than Obama and the RATS ever did. He couldn’t stop talking about the poor dreamers. Truly disgusting.
