"I was disappointed in Stonehenge but really enjoyed the rest of your suggestions."

I was disappointed in Stonehenge too. It was the first stop we made on the first day of our 3 week bus tour. Afterward, we went to the village of Salisbury, and were given time to walk around. I visited Salisbury Cathedral. For me, Stonehenge was much smaller than I expected, and I was disappointed that the area was roped off, and you had to follow a paved path around the barrow.

I wouldn’t visit a shithole Country that jails political dissidents, and dooms them to a death sentence.

"Then go to Harrods and count how many Muslims you see."

He'll be there all day and perhaps all night for that. He might want to take his sleeping bag with him.

A coin purse for all the change, or large pockets. Don’t forget to shop Laura Ashkey’s for your sweetheart.

Glad I went to London years ago. Wouldn’t want to go there now.

Me, too.. I was there in 1976 (back-packed through Europe with a friend for two months) and again in 1981 (month-long honeymoon).
No desire to go anywhere near there now.

In 2015, my better half and I wanted to go somewhere nice for our wedding anniversary. Both of us wanted to go to Britain, but we didn't want to be surrounded my muslins with butcher knives so we went to Hawaii.

Good luck to you and don't forget to write.

Keep a sharp eye on the trucks (lorries) transiting your position.

The London Dungeon and Highgate Cemetery.

I was going to add The Museum of the Moving Image, but it apparently closed in 1999.

My grandfather went there. He was from Scotland, rather dry and stoic but his description to me was, ‘windy’.

Well, he wasn’t ever much of a talker ;)

“but we didn’t want to be surrounded my muslins with butcher knives so we went to Hawaii.”

Many in my family love London-———my son was robbed the day after he arrived in Hawaii———no place is perfect.

If you have time, hop over to Strafford on Avon. Maybe catch a play at the Shakespeare theater.

The best part was renting a car and driving out into the countryside.. Stonehenge, Cambridge, Oxford, Eli.. We got as far as Scarborough then had to turn around to catch our plane.. Which, btw, had a bomb scare on board.. No worries.. They caught the guy making the false threats from an airport phone.. The plane was half full on the way home.. My life is so boring now.

Have fun!

I have the Chess CD. it was sent to me by a radio host as a prize for answering a trivia question (and supplying a theme that he has now used twice.) It's an interesting piece.

I saw Young Frankenstein on Broadway. A fun show. "The Transylvania Mania" is a hoot!

Will you be back Stateside in time for the Tony Awards on June 10?

Be careful if you drive. Driving clockwise on roundabouts while sitting on the opposite side of the auto is a wierd experience.

You can get used to driving on the opposite side of the road, shifting gears with your left hand, sitting on the opposite side of the car, but nothing will move your review mirror to top right from top left.

Enjoy your holiday. I’ll be there also next week.

The Victoria and Albert Museum is awesome, containing exact replicas of the masterworks of Europe.

I agree. Nothing to fear but fear itself.

Steer clear of muslims.

Keep milk handy, in case of acid attacks.

tape phone books around torso under shirt to reduce lethal knife attacks.
