Neither...USofA is a representative Republic NOT a democracy. A Police state?...refer to individual state laws.
Our “representatives” want to pass laws to keep Mueller in power, no matter what.
It’s sick, sick, sick.
Its a teetering representative republic experimenting with democratic socialism on itself.
Neither, we are a Republican...
Blame the electorate. Voters put them in
Oops Republic...not Republican...sorry
Oh that’s so clever, clearly you’re intellect is so far superior I must run and hide in shame for even challenging you.
This short 10 minute video is one of the best explanations of government systems I have ever heard.

The secret police are gaining power. We have a developing Stasi state apparatus.
Not so much a police state as a Secret Police state.
“Is the United States a Democracy or a Police State?”
A Constitutional Republic on the way to becoming a Banana Republic due to the Obama Administrations appointment of partisan goons in critical departments.
Thanks kathsua.
Friend, I left my blood on the battle field for those rights. So, if you haven’t, stick it. I am one ahead of you. I lost an uncle in the Pacific in WWII when his Marine Corsair went down. He was never recovered. My father was in the Army in WWII. I have five other uncles in the Army, Navy or Army Air Corps. Blood was spilt and a life lost. My family has served in the military since back when my mother’s father was in WWI mud trenches in Belgium in the so called war to stop all wars. We fought for and defended our rights. If you will read my post a bit closer you will see that we ARE losing our rights more and more each day. We are losing them because people are giving them up for Peace and Safety. Every right given up is a right LOST!! Never to be regained again.
I’d rather gird my loins, than grind them! lol
Blame the electorate. Voters put them in

The politicians rely on and exploit voter ignorance, complacency, gullibility, and laziness. Sad but true.
I doubt that the Founders ever considered that the American people would be so passive.
And you are right, of course. The fact that so many corrupt and deceitful politicians remain in office is a reflection on the electorate.
I also served. As did many of my family members. I stand by my oath, so I’m not going to stick a damned thing, brother.
p
Neither!
Police powers did not convey to the Federal Government.
The Founders wisely avoided allowing America to become a Democracy by guaranteeing to every state a Republican Form of Government.
It often is a surprise when liberals learn that the word "democracy" or "Democracy" never once appears in either the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution.
No.
