Homosexuals won the culture war years ago when they got the laws against homosexuals overturned. If they had stopped there, they may have been able to co-exist in a culture that really does not tolerate homosexuals.
Instead of accepting their victory, then moved from being accepted in polite society to demanding they be celebrated. Each victory just embolden them to want more.
They don’t seem to realize that they are a minority in our society. Homosexual victories have for the most part been through the courts or from leftest politicians pandering for (money and) votes.
Courts and politicians are fickle friends - when the trend begins to turn, and the American people have had enough, those victories in court will soon evaporate.
Prediction (based on human nature, and 10,000 years of human civilization) - 100 years from now, homosexuals will look back at these years as the Golden Age of their perversion, and they will wonder why the homosexuals of the day did not quit before the world turned against them.
I rarely have anything good to say about the New York Yankees as an organization, but they have more respect for their teams grand tradition than my old favorite tea, the Los Angeles Dodgers, has.
The sportsball industry seems intent on alienating its fan base. We non-fans are having to be careful about chewing our popcorn so we don’t choke on it mid-laugh.
There isn’t a front office in MLB that isn’t pining to have the 1st openly gay player on their roster. It’s much harder to fudge the strike zone now though so he is going to actually have to perform at the highest level. They can’t hide a political mascot underachiever as easily in baseball.

I basically stopped going to games because of all the NON baseball activity during the course of a game that has nothing to do with baseball in the least.
These mascots, Presidents or whatever races, people marching through the stands tossing ‘gifts’ to the people in attendance etc etc etc.
Then they started ‘This or that day/night’. Being a former sailor I would MAYBE go to Armed Forces night, but would not Army or AF night.
If ________ College is being ‘honored’ I feel I don’t ‘belong’ there.
Also on these special ‘nights’ the uniforms change to ‘honor’ the ‘special nights’ with socks, shoes, hats, batting helmets etc in the color of the theme.
This is dumped back on the owners but I think the players can ‘choose’ not to participate in the ‘color scheme’.
Of course ‘allowing’ them to do this also allows them to ‘sit out’ the National Anthem or at least leads up to someone challenging the custom.
It was refreshing to see the Washington Capitals, fresh off their Stanley Cup victory, celebrating at a Nationals Game and while the TV didn’t actually show the playing of the anthem, while lining up for it the South Americans, Canadians, Russians, Americans etc, baseball & hockey alike, lined up shoulder to shoulder in no particular order for the playing of the National Anthem, some already had hand over heart as the camera ‘went to a commercial’ (guess don’t want to glorify??? Whatever)
Oh yes, the Nationals have been having ‘bring your dog’ to the park night for a few years now.
Cynical me says if you have ‘dogs’ in the park for a few hours, the cleanup must be ‘quite hard’ and how do you deodorize for the next game?
Do you let your four-footed friend sit there in the hot sun or muggy night with no liquids for a few hours? Of course, when there is liquid intake, there must be liquid outgo (One would think)
