Congressman Trey Gowdy has been exposing corruption since 2011 ............

Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah

Sentence should have read:

Gowdy has exposed some corruption, has had some great sound bytes when interviewing some folks and it didn’t matter, but when it came time to actually do something, the RINO/GOPe/UniParty in him, said that was enough and it was time to shut up and go get another haircut.

I realize that Congress has limits on his power. But, if he were the true warrior for justice, that so many want him to be, he could have done so much more and he chose not to.

Congressman Clickbait:

“Someone answered a question from Trey Gowdy. You won’t believe what happens next!!!!!”

I see these videos all the time on youtube. A huge waste of time.

Amen......he never was able to solve his serious hair problem. Thank God he's leaving Congress.

Agreed. I was a huge fan of Gowdy back in 2011 when he came on the scene. I viewed him as honest and moral to the core, but also fearless with a bulldog’s drive to find the truth, expose incompetence, and uncover the truth.

Unfortunately, he has produced mostly words in the past 7 years and few results.

And his timidity since Trump’s election is curious. Why would he not want to become Attorney General or Solicitor General?

I’m guessing that his past is not pristine and he received an unmarked letter or untraceable phone call threatening exposure. And, to not put his family through a confirmation hearing, he decided to leave the Congress entirely and go back into private practice.

Funny, my rewrite was:

“Trey Gowdy has talked a good game for many years but has accomplished exactly nothing.

Pretty accurate summary.

Gowdy knows he can play ball with the deep state, and he will leave congress in good health with the wealth he accumulated. He can take on the deep state, and possibly be victim of arkancide, or have his sins exposed publicly. Now, which choice do you think he will make?

In order to impeach Rosenweezel, Gowdy has to get Paul Ryan to approve it, and Ryan is the bottleneck. Of course, if Gowdy doesn’t go to Ryan, then Gowdy is all bark and no bite.
