We saw the rendition with Bernadette Peters....who was tremendously better than Bette could EVER attempt to be.

Did you know Peri Gilpin! (Roz)? I went to church with her as a kid. Her mom was very sweet. I remember Taking a modeling class from her.

I remember David Hyde Pierce verbally smacking down George Clooney for cracking jokes about Charlton Heston’s Alzheimer’s affliction. David’s father and grandfather also suffered from the disease. He earned some respect from me for that. My grandmother suffered from the disease as well.
