Report: teachers balked at increased objectivity.

A group of history school teachers in Massachusetts pledged to reject teaching objectivity while they conspired to hide their anti-Trump prejudice, emails show.

The Federalist reported that the Newton North High School teachers were instructed by the principal to show their students different perspectives on issues like gun laws and immigration.

Teacher David Bedar accused the president and his supporters of “nativism, xenophobia, homophobia, etc.” and wrote that he found it difficult to teach other perspectives in early 2017.

"Personally, I’m finding it really difficult in the current climate to teach kids to appreciate other perspectives. ... [T]he ‘other viewpoint’ might not really be an argument ‘about which reasonable people can disagree’ and might not lead to any kind of intellectual, policy debate; it might just be blatantly racist," Bedar said.

A parent of a Newton North High School student said Monday on "Fox & Friends" that the prejudice began after his son was among a group of students that attended a Trump rally a few years back.

Ed Urquiola said that his son and the other students were subjected to anti-Semitic and hateful comments after their photo was taken at the rally....

Teachers who believe they are hired to teach ‘perspectives’ aka opinion are unfit for purpose, as is the curriculum.

Decisions are best made using a combination of fact and experience. Schools and leftist scum teachers are on a quest to eliminate both.

“current climate...” Another proponent of climate change? Newton is an insular community, a rich tony suburb. It would be an ideal location to locate “dreamers” and change the face of the town. They would likely be in favor of sanctuary status. Princess Hillary won the vote against Trump 78-17%.

It’s Newton, for the love of Mike: 100% to be expected.

[T]he ‘other viewpoint’ might not really be an argument ‘about which reasonable people can disagree’...

That's because you and your ilk are not reasonable.

Newton is gorgeous. One of the nicest towns around, divided (quaintly) into villages, and fabulously wealthy...peopled almost exclusively by insulated libs.

I get a feeling something queer is going on in these schools?

All of my kids went to Newton North-—and a couple of grandkids.

People should do everything they can to pull their kids out of such schools. Those teachers are not fit to teach.

The median home price is something like 1.2 million. The Boston metro average is 284 usd per square foot, Newton is 520 usd per square foot.

I'm assuming 40 years ago the prices weren't so off-the-wall. At this point you've got to be made of pretty rich stuff to touch Newton, although I know some people of more modest means who have held out since the distant past.

Man, it must be getting tough out there. Nothing isn’t racist. /s

Once worked with a black engineer from up north who became visible upset at a televised soccer game because a white card was a good thing. True story.

"issues like gun laws and immigration"

Massachusetts had a embargo of flights and shipping from Portugal back in the 80's and early 90's.

This a attempt to stop the flow of Portugese flooding that state.

“he found it difficult to teach other perspectives”

Well, he should go find another job then, if being a teacher is too difficult for him.
