You can’t change the Constitution by executive action.
The Bill of Rights is part of the Constitution.
Doubt that her EO would pass constitutional muster....
Thanks for posting the full content here.
It's appreciated.
The whore Harris has less chance of being elected president than I do of winning the Powerball.
HI should have never become a state.
We never should have overthrown the Monarchy, on behalf of the Dole Family.
....agree...! and what exactly is Mizz Harris thinking of doing re: “Gun violence is the leading cause of death for young Black men in American. We must stop this. When president, I will take executive action to ensure guns do not fall into the wrong hands.” Duh... I would imagine that the vast majority of guns used in these deaths are stolen to begin with then sold on street corners by thugs to other thugs....so what kind of “executive action” is gonna solve this problem? Of all the 20 or so Dummycrats vying for their party’s nomination, I fear her the most...ruthless; driven; would stop at nothing to get what she wants....
She has no idea what an Executive Order is or who it affects.
This alone should disqualify her holding office.
True... I travel to Hawaii a lot and just studied how Hawaii became a State. Flat out, we stole it...
Granted, if they were a sovereign nation, they’d be like Rico or even like Haiti..
I'm not so sure about that.
Been once lovely place have zero interest in go back zero
One less reason to travel to Hawaii. Stay away, I say.
Dah Bruddahs are going to start running out of haoles to beat up. Tourist traps will go out of business. Overpriced hotels & bars will suffer.
The U.S. mainland has thousands of miles of beaches. HI is becoming a hornets’ nest where the hornets all hate each other. They can enjoy their diversity.
Well, that statement solidified a nice block of independent voters for Trump should Kamala be the Dim nominee.
The Bill of Rights is part of the Constitution.
Until a dim President ignores it. Like they ignore other parts of the Constitution.
Hawaii is a state because refueling the fleet for extended deployments required large caches of coal and lubricants.
The bases grew and our military presence was a projection of power. Midway, Pearl, Guam, Philippines, Diego Garcia, Roosevelt Roads (at el) were all in support of Naval Fleet activity.
I assert we still could have had those bases in an independent Hawaii, as we had a mutual interest in stopping Japanese domination of The Pacific.
That's news to me - and, apparently, to the industry.

True, in theory. But in reality a president can do anything he/she wants to unless impeached (and removed) by Congress, or overruled by the US Supreme Court.
Would Congress impeach a President Harris over this issue? I doubt it, only because I think the House will be Democrat going forward. There is too much fraud (and illegal immigration) for it to be otherwise.
Would todays Supreme Court overrule Harris? I think so. But 10 years from now, who knows?
Sorry for the pessimism. But this aint my grandpas USA.
