Chuck Muth, a Nevada GOP activist wearing a Keep America Great hat, said Saturday he had re-registered as a Democrat last weekend and marked Sen. Bernie Sanders as his first choice on an early voting ballot.

The day before the Feb. 11 New Hampshire primary, President Donald Trump suggested Republicans might want to cross over and “vote for the weakest candidate possible of the Democrats” — but by the time Trump made that remark, the deadline to register for the primary had passed.

Money quote:

Muth explained that he chose Sanders, not because he thought Sanders would be the easiest Democrat to beat, but because he thought a contest between Trump and the Vermont senator would provide “a great civics lesson for the entire country, comparing an absolute avowed socialist versus an absolute avowed capitalist.”

I am pulling the lever for Bernie on Super Tuesday. Let us have a clarifying election.

I’m voting for Bernie on March 3.

Socialist vs free market in November.

Op Chaos 2.0
In May, when Indiana votes, Burney will probably have it locked up but I did vote for Shrillary in the 2008 primary.

Hewitt is a fraud.
He’s been a Bush League Republican water carrier for open borders/amnesty for a long time.
Same with Medved.

I agree with him and was hoping for that contest in 2016 ... It would indeed be a clear choice for the mush heads ... maybe a few would learn something ...

If I recall correctly, the object of Rush’s original Operation Chaos was to keep Hillary in the contest longer, not to support Obama.

You have it backwards, Rush tried to get people to vote for Hillary to stop Obama.
It failed.

And this, children, is why open primaries are STUPID and destroy the point of political parties to begin with.

If you cared enough about politics and government you joined a party and involved yourself with the ideologies and candidate selecting.

Then in the ACTUAL election you ran your candidates and tried to get people to vote for your guy.

These primary and “general” elections are an abomination to the Republic - open primaries even more so.

I don’t think you know what you are talking about. Rush’s O.C. was to vote for Hilary and keep her in the primary AGAINST Obama. I wish people would quit trying too turn it around.

“Rush’s O.C. was to vote for Hilary and keep her in the primary AGAINST Obama. I wish people would quit trying to turn it around.”

I remember it that way, too, but obama happens after a few years. I mistakenly thought the other day that Tuna Nan’s driver was the Chinese SPY for 20 years, when it was Feinstein’s. Same enemy, different name.

Since Rats are never held accountable for their crimes, we’re lucky to hear about them at all, and then usually briefly, so it’s easy to get wrong.

I think only the neverTrump Hussein Head fascists and bullies here are actually trying to turn things around.

I gave $25.00 Bucks to Bernie.

The landslid in November will bitch slap the Democrats into some common sense and the squad will disappear...

I agree with you. I actually think that Bernie is the only electable candidate that the Dems have, and he will be tough to beat.

Be careful what you wish for. People thought Obama would be easier to beat than Hillary.
