2,500-Year-Old Chariot Found – Complete with Rider And Horses.
Archaeology World ^ | NOVEMBER 18, 2019 | ARCHAEOLOGY WORLD TEAM

In Yorkshire, a Chariot from the Iron Age was found, making it the second such find in two years. In a small town in Yorkshire named Pocklington, on a construction site, houses were built. The discovery was made.

There has now been a delay in construction on the homes as a new dig begins in October. Interesting is that not only the chariot is discovered but the horse’s skeletons are also found that pulled up the wagon and the driver’s human remains.

Perhaps gives a new perspective to the old phrase,
“...and the horse you rode in on.”

Interesting stuff, but that way it is written it reads like Chinese instructions for an electronic device.

"A chariot with four wheels?"

"Chariot" can be an all-purpose word for anything drawn by a horse that carries a person. Like you, when I first saw the word "chariot" in this article linked with the Roman era, I thought "war chariot". However, I'm thinking, "How about chariots like, say, Cinderella, might have rode in? Those are chariots too."

Yep, written for a new generation of “readers” who are still using the “guess and go method” and who can’t attempt to read a full paragraph of information.
