Moments after George Floyd was taken away in an ambulance last May, former Minneapolis Police officer Derek Chauvin was confronted by a witness who took issue with Chauvin’s allegedly kneeling on Floyd’s neck.
“That’s one person’s opinion,” Chauvin responded as he got into his squad car. “We had to control this guy because he’s a sizable guy. It looks like he’s probably on something.”
Jurors in the murder trial of former Minneapolis Police officer Derek Chauvin have heard testimony from 11 witnesses so far who have recounted the death of George Floyd over the last three days.
Chauvin is facing multiple charges in connection to the May 25 death of Floyd, a Black man who died in police custody, including second-degree murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter. The former officer was caught on camera with his knee allegedly pinned against Floyd’s neck for more than nine minutes as Floyd cried out he could not breathe.
Today for the first time, we saw images from other angles appear to show Derek Chauvin’s knee was actually on George Floyd’s back. Images below:

In opening statements, Derek Chauvin’s defense attorney claimed that George Floyd died because of heart problems complicated by a drug overdose – and not because of a police officer’s knee on his neck.
A key autopsy report introduced as evidence in pre-trial motions reveals that drugs were indeed found in Floyd’s system.

Defense attorney Eric Nelson told the jury the autopsy found “a mixture of methamphetamine and fentanyl.”
“This is what’s called a Speedball – a mixture of an opioid and a stimulant,” Nelson said. “The evidence will show that Mr. Floyd died of a cardiac arrhythmia that occurred a result of hypertension, his coronary disease, ingestion of methamphetamine and fentanyl, and the adrenaline flowing through his body.”
A cashier who was one of the last people to speak with George Floyd alive last May testified at former Minneapolis policeman Derek Chauvin’s murder trial on Wednesday of his regret accepting the fake $20 bill that led to Floyd’s deadly arrest.

“It looks like he’s probably on something.”
He was, wasn’t he?
Black Lies Murder
IIRC, “Speedball – a mixture of an opioid and a stimulant,” is what killed John Belushi.
His weight is on his right knee. His left elbow is out in a chicken wing to help him balance because he has minimal pressure down on his left side, just enough to restrain Mr. Floyd. It looks A LOT worse than it actually is, especially if you cooperate...
He was on enough to kill him and four other people.
Of course it was. That’s how the training is, try to choke yourself from the front with your own hand. See how it feels. Then try to choke yourself by squeezing the back of your neck with your own hand.
Autopsy showed he died of a drug overdose and had no damage to his throat or neck. If this wasn’t a huge news story this would be an open and shut case. Americans in general and blacks in particular need to learn a very hard lesson about acting like adults.
You don’t get to burn down cities and throw a temper tantrum just because talking heads on television tell you its okay.
White people need to stop bending over backwards for blacks. They will never fix their lot in life if we keep on babying them.

They need to make the point that the restraint used was precisely how they were trained to deal with a potentially violent person on drugs. They even have MPD training manuals showing that.
Coke + Smack is what OD’d Belushi.
Floyd was on 11 units of Fentanyl, 2 Percocet and alcohol. 2-3 units of Fentanyl is more than enough to kill a normal man. He also had high BP, heart disease and other medical problems.
Here’s the autopsy report:
Defense is just getting rolling
With actual experts, unlike the witnesses the prosecution has put out there
I was showing this to my children and their significant others. I actually got on the ground and showed how Chauvin was putting most of his weight on his right knee on the ground and only shifting weight to the left knee, on the back, as Floyd tried to get up.
There was and is nothing wrong with that methodology, no matter what the bleeding hearts want the police to do now.
If I knelt down on someone’s neck with the intent of killing them, they’d be dead in less than a minute. Chauvin was on for 8 I believe.
The DemonRats HATE COPS WHO PROTECT US, unless of course they are COPS PROTECTING THEM AT THE CAPITOL.
I meant morally not legally.
The weight of the knee on the neck should restrict blood flow to the brain enough to cause unconsciousness,or worse, shut down his respiratory system. With his heart racing from the meth and not getting oxygen from the lungs, you have cardiac arrest.
BLM and Antifa already have the riots planned and orchestrated with a wink and nod from DC.
The defense is some of the same people are being portrayed as unruly, angry, even threatening by Eric Nelson, the attorney for Derek Chauvin, the former Minneapolis officer charged with murder and manslaughter in Floyd’s death. Nelson has told the jury about the hostility the officers faced, how they were distracted and perhaps frightened by people at the scene — repeatedly describing the bystanders as a “crowd,” and calling the neighborhood a “high crime area.”
