These people that wanna run in front of the camera or drive their car around multiple times even honking their horns kill me when they start screaming they don’t want to be filmed!!! Are you serious? Every action they take is to draw attention to their ridiculous activity. If I saw someone filming, I’d simply smile, maybe throw a little wave and keep moving. These people are getting themselves all riled up for nothing. Live and let live has always been my motto. If you’re not hurting me or mine ...do your thing! That was a good deputy sheriff interaction. When karen stepped out her car, I was yesssss..here we go..lol. you gotta love when people walk up to a camera and say dont film me. How stupid can you be? The employee was definitely 2 bongs rips deep when she came out, she couldn’t even talk

Nobody is pestering anyone. Watch some of his videos and you will understand what a first amendment audit is. The Karens that don’t know how to mind their own business and aggressively confront are the ones who create the issues.

AP doesn’t provoke. He is one of the best auditors out there. The Karens go crazy all on their own and need to get educated.
I am familiar with “1A auditors”. And I am 100% in favor of those auditors who film the police. The police need to be watched! As the ancient Romans asked, “Who will watch the watchers?”
But those auditors who harass civilians are garbage. Pure garbage. They are no different than spam callers who bother people for their own benefit. In this video, Amagansett Press is acting like a garbage spam caller.
He should be ashamed of himself.
I am not going to look for context in this. Looks like they’re setting up and looking for a provocation. I’ve seen enough.
The vast majority of these 1st Amendment frauditors could care less about the 1A. It’s about annoying people and LEOs to get a reaction and clicks for their YouTube channels. Total scum.
They aren’t harassing anyone. They are on the sidewalk recording and they allowed to do what they are doing.
Best thing you can do if you don’t want to be filmed - go into your car and go home. That’s it! Otherwise your other option is to do what this lady just did. And the only reason he filmed her car was she filmed them. If she had gotten in her car and left nobody would have paid any attention to her.
And the reason why he does this? Because our constitution is taking an ass kicking. And our rights are like muscles, if you don’t exercise them, you lose them. One of our rights is the first amendment and being able to take video and photographs in public. Our rights don’t just include happy talk and watching the police. It’s going to be a sad day when are right to take photographs and video in public goes away. It will be like North Korea.

There are surveillance cameras EVERYWHERE recording EVERYTHING these days, but they selectively choose to take offense at somebody with a camera because?

otherwise as much as I hate to do so I must conclude as proven that you don’t have a clue about the First Amendment.

He isn’t the vast majority. He has a 30 year history in photography and was tired of his first amendment rights being violated so this is why he picked this venue. Not all photographers are bad. There are good photographers. Just like the police, there are some bad police. Does that make all police bad? There was an excellent Sheriff in this video. Go watch a few of his videos and you will see the difference. Somebody else on FR just told me yesterday that Amagansett Press is the best 1st Amendment auditor on youtube so I’m not just saying this.

I must respectfully disagree. Consider a spam phone caller. He might justify his calls by saying he’s offering a service, one that the called person can decline. But deep down he knows the truth. He his simply harassing people for his own benefit.
The same goes with the 1A auditors who harass civilians. Those auditors are not standing in from of private property to protect the Constitution. Deep down, no one can believe that. Instead those auditors are looking for an adverse reaction. They want an adverse reaction.
Controversy sells. It’s no different than some guy who uses the n-word in front of a black person, then claims he’s just testing his right to free speech.
With really bothers me is that the garbage “1A auditors” give a bad name to the true 1A auditors. The true auditors record the police. They watch the police. As I noted earlier, the police need watching.
If some guy wants to record me walking into a Post Office I really don’t have a problem with it. He has that right. I’m not much to look at, but whatever.
Actually, since BenLurkin never raised raised the First Amendmwnt and merely asked about basic decency, it seems you are the clueless one.
