Reka Gyorgy missed the cut for the consolation final in the 500 free at the NCAA Championships.
Reka Gyorgy, the Virginia Tech swimmer who missed out on competing in the finals of the 500 free at the NCAA Championships earlier in the week, took issue with NCAA rules allowing transgender women to compete against biological females.
Gyorgy had missed the cut-off to get into the consolation final in the 500 free. She finished in 17th place and in the letter argued she missed out because of Lia Thomas’ dominance in the race.
The transgender University of Penn swimmer finished with a 4:33.82 in the preliminaries and later became a national champion when she won the race with a time of 4:33.24.

The NCAA should take their heads outta their asses and fix this. But they won’t.
IMHO, the public at large should boycott any swimmer who is the wrong sex for the competition.
Her father was on “Fox & Friends” this morning. Sounded like he was being careful not to say anything that might sound “transphobic.”
I wish Fox would refrain from supporting this nonsense of calling men “she”.
Just don’t use pronouns for trans people at all. You don’t get sued and you don’t insult your readers’ intelligence.

Trannies need to start their own tranny competition for a level playing field.
This is what happens when you allow elections to be stolen and let lunatics make policy.
It would be interesting to know what percentage of women swimmer are registered Democrats or consider themselves as progressives.

The “fairness and equity” endgame. In the near future, all women’s teams will be fielded by men.

Beat me to it. Truth be told, many of these women being cheated by this guy likely support all this progressive madness. Fight it, fight it all the way, or sit down and shut up.
That the Left cannot figure this one out is just pitiful.
1. If they use "self-identifying" characteristics to determine gender eligibility in sports, then they run the risk of facing the demise of women's sports.
2. If they DON'T recognize the patently absurd idea of "transgender identity" and insist on objective methods of identifying "men" and "women" in sports, then they're violating the law as it now stands in the U.S.
We're witnessing the Tower of Babel version 2.0 unfold right before our eyes.
As crazy as the Left has been with promoting transgenders as courageous, and the new normal, expect it to increase exponentially in the near future. It has been a very effective tool to tear down Judeo/Christian values in this country.
How does a good looking kid, going to a good college (and probably raised by "good" parents) turn from Will into Lia? And then magically get thrusted into a superstar swimming career as a woman?

I’ve thought about this as well. Maybe this kid is just unbelievably brilliant and will come out as being one big college prank on a whole society? If so, it’s awesome...take a stand and force people to accept it, get all the liberals backing you and then, BAM! write a book or sell a movie about the stupidity of the populous.
Or, he was was second-rate male swimmer and wanted to win?
