As the Democrats on the beach are mesmerized by the red tsunami rushing in to wipe them out, one question above others will run through their minds: how did we lose control of the Narrative™?
It’s no secret that Democrats basically own the minds and souls of everybody in the media and entertainment complex. As much as the Left screams about Fox News, only about 1% of the country actually watches it. It’s hard to see how that one tiny slice of the media landscape could become so influential that it could turn the country against the Democrats so decisively.
ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, all the comedy channels, news outlets, Hollywood, the music industry…no matter where you turn one is inundated by messages that Republicans are Mega-evil MAGA election denying racist sexist homophobic trans-killing maniacs armed to the teeth. Our president trots out the possibility of using F-15s to hold back the hordes of AR-15 wielding rednecks who go out on lynching parties to prevent children from reading books or something.
Republicans oppose all that is right and good and true and compassionate. They hate children and puppies, and want to kill grandma after taking away her Social Security. It sometimes seems as if electronic media was invented to slander Republicans.
Democrats have to wonder: with all that messaging might, how on Earth has America lost the plot and decided to vote Republican?

The corrupt, mendacious, propaganda obsessed media wonks are too stupid to realize that the most powerful thing at their disposal is TRUTH.
I think it’s beginning to sink in that the Dems, MSM, Tech Lords and various agencies within the government conspired to commit genocide using the Covid vax not only within America but also across the world.
The last two years have revealed the media to be what we have been saying: fundamentally corrupt. Propagandists. Enough people see it now.
Trump paved the way, but others are taking the road to the promised land. It is Ron DeSantis and Kari Lake who benefited. The media didn’t kill Trump, but they wounded him. If they had been the least bit fair Trump would have won. But it was not to be. Perhaps he makes a comeback in 2024, but I think he should be satisfied to look upon his works and be proud. Others will carry on the work he started.
The greatest weapon the left has is the Media and control over the information flow.
That weapon has been blunted.
If the Republicans take the Congress, it is proof the Media weapon is broken.
Remember, they do not believe in absolute truth. Truth is what they make it to be.
They consider themselves as gods.
I hope so, but I’ll believe it when people like Biden and Sanders and Abrams earn like 5% of the vote in elections rather than 50%.
So many conservatives are now getting their news outside the traditional media. Now it appears Twitter is going the route of free speech and encouraging conservative dialogue (though the jury is still out on that).
Americans in general just aren’t as stupid as the left believes.
Their core voters are stupid as Hillary pointed out, and it’s very easy to pull the wool over their eyes.
The rest of the country, particularly those with a decent education, does not fall for the left’s inane BS.

GOP New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu told NBC’s Chuck Todd when he repeatedly asked about Republican “election deniers” running for office: “You’re in a bubble, man.”
“You are in a bubble if you think anybody’s talking about what happened in 2020 or talking about Mar-a-Lago and all that,” Sununu said. “People are talking about what is happening in their pocketbooks every single day when they have to buy groceries or fill up gas.”
“It kind of has baffled me through this whole campaign season, the fact that Democrats keep pushing this stuff and talking about things that aren’t really what voters want to hear about.”

DeSantis and Lake have media armor. Every barb, every arrow, every thwack with a sword aimed at their heart by the media just bounces off. Because people know that the media really has become, as Trump said, enemies of the people.
It's the "because" that I think is wrong. If it was just that people didn't trust the media, every Republican would have the exact same armor. But they don't. The reason media attacks don't stick to either DeSantis or Lake is because they are both very disciplined and adept communicators. They may talk about ideas that offend the mainstream media, but they always choose their actual words very carefully so there is no ambiguity, and no chance to distort what they meant.
That's not an easy thing to do, and it's why they're superstars.
The Internet was to a great degree the cause of that despite such engines as Twitter and Facebook being carefully captured to the cause of leftwing propaganda; the lesson there is that full censorship is still elusive to the most determined efforts at subversion. Elon Musk will garner a large measure of undeserved blame should Tuesday's elections turn out the way they're looking - undeserved because he hasn't had time to do anything much at Twitter yet except begin a long overdue personnel cull. He'll be blamed because the truth is too hard to face: they've failed to stifle dissent across the board and freedom is winning. Baby steps at first but that's just the way that works.
That is true. It is also true, to take advantage of the distrust of the Media, the candidate has to show they understand the distrust and share in the contempt.
It is a feedback loop.
President Trump did that in spades.
DeSantis and Lake do that very well.
Many others do it not quite as well.
The vast majority of Republicans, prior to 2016, ran from it.
The common wisdom was: Don't pick a fight with someone who buys ink by the barrel.
That saying has been turned on its head.
Today, pick the fight to show you are not corrupt.
They stole a presidential election in 2020 and not only got away with it, but anyone who questions it is called an election denier, gets canceled and even doxxed.
In a fair election, it would be a red tsunami, but we'll wait and see how many (R)s are in first place in the count on election night but are overtaken by cheat-by-mail-in votes in the following days.
Wouldn’t it be worthwhile to watch ONLY those shows on Fox who seem to be FREE?
Well, 46% of the county is stupid. That’s how many support Biden and people like Fetterman. Both of whom are flaming idiots. This country is so dumbed down it’s pathetic.
