Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles - Daily Terror Threat

Monday, November 3, 2003

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

LOL! I'm sure the naysayers that occasionally post here "when is this thread going to stop!" wish we would all take some valium.

Bottom line, we will probably only know what is true when something happens unfortunately.

I would bet that we will all be here and just fine on Feb 5.

I agree. I check out this thread from time to time, but I really wouldn't be worried by most of the reported "threats" I see on it. However, I think it's a valuable thread, because if nothing else, it would give an analyst an idea of how people would react to specific threats, areas to focus on, etc.

It also gives some sort of history, from the layman's point of view, of these events over the last several months. And it is also always possible that somebody will stumble across something important, or think "out of the box" in such a way as to really zero in on our enemies.

But I don't think people should become excessively worried about any of this.

The way I read her post was how to spend the money. Use the money to shore up our borders rather than sending it to other countries. Who gives a rat's *** if it ticks off the other country. Use the money here, at home, for our benefit, putting our people to work. At least that's how I interpreted her post.

The Military will inject ATROPINE IMMEDIATELY upon exposure, they will jab it into their theigh, (through the clothing, AND I MEAN RIGHT NOW!). Any oral medication will not be quick enough to enter the bloodstream, including vallium.

ATROPINE SULFATE Injection, USP
0.1 mg/mI (Adult)
0.05 mg/mL (Pediatric)
ABBOJECT® Unit of Use Syringe
Atropine Sulfate Injection, USP is a sterile, nonpyrogenic isotonic solution of atropine sulfate monohydrate in water for injection with sodium chloride sufficient to render the solution isotonic. It is administered parenterally by subcutaneous, intramuscular or intravenous injection.

Each milliliter (mL) contains atropine sulfate, monohydrate 0.1 mg (adult strength) or 0.05 mg (pediatric strength), and sodium chloride, 9 mg. May contain sodium hydroxide and/or sulfuric acid for pH adjustment 0.308 mOsmol/mL (calc.). pH 4.2 (3.0 to 6.5).

The solution contains no bacteriostat, antimicrobial agent or added buffer (except for pH adjustment) and is intended for use only as a single-dose injection. When smaller doses are required the unused portion should be discarded.

Atropine Sulfate Injection is a parenteral anticholinergic agent and muscarinic antagonist.

Atropine Sulfate, USP is chemically designated 1a H, 5a H-Tropan-3-a ol (±)-tropate(ester), sulfate (2:1) (salt) monohydrate, (C17H23NO3)2 • H2SO4 • H2O, colorless crystals or white crystalline powder very soluble in water.

Atropine, a naturally occurring belladonna alkaloid, is a racemic mixture of equal parts of d- and 1-hyocyamine, whose activity is due almost entirely to the levo isomer of the drug.

Sodium Chloride, USP is chemically designated NaCI, a white crystalline powder freely soluble in water.

"US wants major Islamic charity group to be branded terrorist"

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Several Islamic charities in the U.S. have already been closed for terrorist links. Charities collect obligatory zakat donations from Muslims, which are then distributed to radical groups -- apparently unbeknownst to many of the donors. Now the Saudis, anxious to improve their anti-terror credentials, have joined the U.S. to go after another. This from the Hindustan Times, with thanks to Jean-Luc.

The United States and Saudi Arabia have jointly appealed the United Nations to declare a major charity group, Al-Haramain Islamic Foundation's branches in Pakistan, Kenya, Tanzania and Indonesia as terrorist organisations.

US Treasury Secretary John W. Snow, top State Deprtment officials including Counterterrorism Coordinator Cofer Black, and Adel Jubeir, Chief Foreign Policy Adviser to Crown Prince Abdullah held a joint press conference yesterday at the US Treasury to make the appeal to UN.

US Officials said these four countries have resisted action, though it has been tarred as terrorist in both in the US and Saudi Arabia for some time, "in part out of fear of appearing to do the bidding of the United States."'

"We are working closely with our Saudi friends. I have personally seen great improvement in the cooperation," Black said.

Al-Haramain figured prominently in the indictment earlier this month of Sami Omar Hussayen, a University of Idaho doctoral student in computer science, on charges of conspiracy to promote material support to terrorists. It raises millions of dollars for its charities every year. The charge is that though it has genuine charities, Al-Haaramain also funds terrorism."

I'm probably one of the most prepared people I know, with appropriate food/water/gas stocks, plans, etc. (How many people do you know who have a "to go" bag packed with KI4U, grain, portable water, light, blankets, heat, etc)? Probably not many!

Hopefully there are more folks than you realize that are as prepared. My husband and I have "bags" that are similar to what you described in both vehicles. We have large stocks of supplies, medicine, etc., etc., at home. Ours is not so much "to go" as "to stay" as we live in a very rural area. I would also add that IMO any good preparation should include guns and ammo. No, we are not some sort of "survivalist loons". Just regular folks that prefer to stay aware of current world events and consider all possibilities, prepare, and then go on with our lives.

I would hope that people would realize that being prepared in this manner is not just because of 9/11, or ME terrorists, or Feb. 2. There is still the threat of wacko N. Korea, among others. Nothing wrong with being prepared. If you never need the supplies in your lifetime than you have had a blessed and peaceful life. But, if you do need them...

There are links in this thread that got shuffled off to the religion forum . . . rather arbitrarily or because someone made a fuss because--horrors--it talked about a current news item from an unpreferred perspective that left some ?starchy? ?rigid? types uncomfortable.

This is true but it does not restore the body chemical you need to continue this. After a while the body will respond and start making this chemical. Well that is the good news. The problem is it only works if you are hit by our agents such as VX or GB. What the Russians were using and their friends was what we called GD. When hit by GD you also need a chemical call 2 pamchoride or something like that. Atropine by itself may not save you.

LIz, I think I read that the skit on Lenanese tv had "Lie" in the place where they usually would have "Live." That would give the joke away; and it was in the middle of a comedy show where the "skit" with a live newscaster broke in. The newspapers reported it as clearly a spoof like we watch on Saturday Night Live, for example.

Terror not suspected in incident at plant..

WHEN will they figure out that the vast majority of us don't buy this BS "nothing to see here..move along" garbage.

It would be SO much better if the USG just started being "straight up" with the people.
