Young Conservatives(Vanity)
14 Feb 05 | Jay777

Posted on 02/14/2005 8:09:56 PM PST by Jay777

I'm a 28 year old conservative. I've been active here for quite a few months now. The more I hang around the more active I get. I've really got it out for the ACLU!

So I'm posting a vanity, because most of the activist here call me a youngster! I'm wondering how many of us here are under 30! So if you see this post, which many will not, cause I can't post garbage like this on the main forum, let me know if you are under 35! I'm just curious how many of us there are!

If you know any young freepers ping them to my thread.

And by the way I'll take advantage of this vanity to promote my blog...visit it and leave a comment.

And I agree that Anne Coulter is a goddess! I'd love to meet her and discuss things with her. I'd play devil's advocate and pretend to be a liberal just to get a good heated debate with her!

Grampa Simpson I can remember when phones had bells inside. (For the kids: That's why they say a phone "rings," even when it plays a tune.) And rotary dials. (For the kids: That's why pressing your phone's buttons is called "dialing.") And there was no such thing as a cordless phone. The best you could do was to get a really long receiver (not "handset") cord, but then it got all tangled up because of the coils. On the plus side, you could still use the phone when the power went out.

I just adopted my 5 year old stepson, who is now my son. He's called me Daddy since he was 3. The adoption took forever! I'm a SSgt in the Air Force. And good luck in your search for a conservative man! Your son looks like he is a fun character!

Why did you name your cat O'Reilly? My brother is a Kid Rock Fan. He got screwed up with drugs and in a lot of trouble. Now he's turned his life around and is super holy roller running a half way house for troubled teens!

Prayers for him! I went to Kuwait, Saudi, and Qutar. I lucked out! I did support special forces in Saudi. Our base were the ones who rescued Jessica Lynch!

I remember named telephone exchanges. When I was a kid, our phone number began with HUdson 7. (For the kids: That's why the buttons on your phone have letters on them--not for text messages, and not for phone numbers like 1-900-HOT-CHIX; those came later.)

And our landlady had a party line. (For the kids: No, that has nothing to do with what you get when you call 1-900-HOT-CHIX.)

I had trouble with relationships. I was meant to be a dad. Falling in love with Tyler finally helped me to settle down with his mother whom I am also in love with. But I would have given up if it wasn't for him.
