Hey, Romeo caught Juliet. Not that she tried very hard to get away. She was the original not playing hard to get girl.

OTOH, he married her first, a wooing tactic that seems to have disappeared.

Funny, when I read the title of this thread I was thinking Thrashers before I even clicked on the link. And I agree with your chain choice also. Sometimes it is amazing to see the line down by the inlet in OCMD for people waiting to get fries. They could walk up to 8th street and goto the other Thrashers and get their fries and walk back before they would be done with the line at the inlet Thrashers. They are good though.

I was in that line last weekend. ;-)

Isn't it cheese curds and gravy on fries? I love poutine. It warms you up in the winter when it is -40 degrees out.

On a different snack note, Julia's on 6th and 11th streets and the boards have the best Italian Ice and Cannoli's I have ever tasted. I have a small chocolate ice and a cannoli after every morning surf session; and sometimes at night.

Not very exotic, but the best fries are from McDonalds. No contest. :~D

Yep, that's it. Very good stuff.

There are fast food / diner places where you can get it back home, and in Quebec, even the McDonald's' carry it.

I'm feeling a bit homesick today.

I really like the fries at the Checker's burger chain, even w/o ketchup.

Mmmmm...onion rings...now there's a subject worthy of a whole 'nother thread!

There's a place back in Vermont that makes AWESOME beer battered onion rings. Awesome with some horseradish sauce. *drool*

I really need to get out and explore my new local area, I guess. I'm feelin' all deprived.

In-n-Out fries are the best. Of course, it doesn't hurt to eat them along with a Double Double served "animal style"...
