UCLA is getting beat right now....

I'm not one of those who roots for conference rivals to win bowl games. I want my university to win, of course, but the rest can go pound sand.

I know, I know, I should want my conference to do well in the bowl games so that I can argue that my conference is the toughest, blah, blah, blah.

But I just want my team to be the toughest, recruit the best athletes in the region, and make the rest of them cry.

yeah....

but I always like it when certain other teams lose and mine wins (ND being one that LOVE to lose, Florida and Florida State being a couple others).....

The only game that counts, is the last one of the season.

He lost.

Okay, certain games might give me a quandry. I loathe Notre Dame and Arizona State is one of my conference rivals. If they were meeting today, I'd like both of them to lose, but I think I'd want Notre Dame to lose more.

So, there are exceptions. Nobody promised me that life would be easy or the decisions simple.

It was not me.

But in spite of Nebraska's great second half performance, Oregon gave them a run for their money, being in position at the end to either tie or win.

Nebraska made the big play at the end though, no doubt about it.

If you want to see overrated, let's see what happens to ND against Ohio.

I've got action on both Big 10 teams right now.

I haven't pulled the trigger on SC/Mizz any thoughts on that one?

I always cheer for the Big 12.....as much as it pains me to even acknowledge the gooners. (my beloved OSU Cowboys stayed home this year) So....go Missouri, Tech, and Hook em Horns! I also wouldn't shed a tear if LSU Miles loses!

Minny is in their usual late season collapse.

The university would be absolutely dumb to bring back Glen Mason

---

he has 1 year left on a 7 year deal. let him finish it out and then talk or not. ;-).

The Gophers are miserable at closing out games on highly rated opponents, and while Mason brought them a long way, maybe another coach can get it done ..

Wahoo-wah !

But all the announcers talked about all game long, except for a few moments of blessed silence when "technical difficulties" cut off their mikes, was about the contracts of a variety of assistant coaches. Who cares!

This is turning out to be a good game...when I first saw the score NW 22-0, I tuned it out.Now its 22-22, wow.
The first game was the same thing...you would think a team could hold a 3 TD lead.....
