I'll go first. I've been doing Weight Watchers for about 6 months and have lost about 35 pounds. Not record time, I know, but I'm making real lasting changes in my eating habits. WW really emphasizes portion control. It's the most "doable" diet I've ever done. I still get to eat what I want, just smaller portions. I'm getting over a raging cold so I wasn't able to go weigh in this week and see if I lost anything. I'm dying to see if I got below the 35 pound mark.
I generally loathe exercise, but know it's good for me. So, I do Walk Away The Pounds 2 mile and WATPs Walk, Punch and Kick when I the mood strikes. When the weather is nice mr. rk and I like to hike around different parks in the area. We have some great recreation areas near here.
Anyone else interested?

I'm an ACE certified personal trainer, so I'll offer whatever assistance I can, when I can. BTW...I think WW offers the most sensible diet plan out there. Keep up the good work!

If you want to start a list, you can sign me up.
My regimen includes two nights a week at my martial arts class. I am a little bit overweight, not much, and this activity has really allowed me to keep it from getting any worse.
I've been training for 8 years. I am 2nd degree blackbelt.
Also, in the summer I occasionally do some hiking and camping at Kentucky Lake, but not enough to be considered an exercise regimen. I also go to a rifle range to shoot during the summer, and if I'm shooting my 7mm magnum, then it most definitely qualifies as a workout. Qualifies as a beating, too :)

I think it's a wonderful idea!
Sadly, this thread has already been ambushed by the jokesters & their sick pictures.
You have a good idea....
..Too bad no one seems willing to give it a chance.
If you pursue this, sign me on :)
To: retrokitten
Good luck with this... I'd participate as well if the idea takes off... I'd like to drop some pounds for summer.

I actually am a diabetic so I'm on a very low carb - no sugar diet. I walk 8 miles a day which helps also. I have lost 25 pounds on it so far.

sure. I have been doing the South Beach Diet. My mil has been on it for 4 years now, and she looks fantastic. I went on vacation, though, and need to get back on the wagon!
