I was hoping that the smug hybrid owners would all get into massive wrecks because they were driving with their eyes closed. =P

I love it. I was on another board full of liberals that usually praise South Park, and they were pissed off over this episode.

Typical.

SP pisses off everyone, that is its charm.

Must be all those farts they are inhaling.

Wow, once again South park makes an episode that I agree with completely. Hybrid cars are good. The less gas we use, the less of our money goes to the middle east. The problem is that douchy people drive them and they're ugly. They're the birkenstocks of cars.

BTW, this episode was flat out hilarious. If you didn't laugh, it either hit too close to home or you've never been to San Francisco for any length of time.

There was a Toyota Pious, er, I mean Prius commercial on during this episode, near the end. I couldn't believe my eyes.

My apologies, but I thought the original "Pious" (or would that be P-O-S?) didn't use NiMH batts.

You are correct that it didn't.

Although the thought of the potentially-toxic nickel exposure in a fire doesn't excite me either.
