We almost lost our 12 lb. Lassa Apsa mix a couple of months ago.

She swallowed a broken needle and it went through her throat into her spinal cord in her neck.

The surgeon cut a 3" incision on the back of her neck and removed it. He couldn't believe she survived the needle in the spinal cord or the surgery to remove it.

He may put her case in the vet medical journal.

Cost us $2400 to save her life.(well worth it)

Awwwww, I'm glad she's alright. You just can't put a price on the joy they bring you!

Hubby and I are getting ready to spend $2100 for our German Sheppard to have his hip fixed. I've gotten a lot of ridicule from my co-workers, but I hope it'll be worth it. If he can ambulate without pain, it will be.
