Personally, I’d like to see him tell the media that the reason he says things are going well for him, is because he has an agreement with Virgie and it is, in fact, HKS who is holding up his getting custody of DL, because HKS continues to object.
Good for the goose, good for the gander. HKS did it...LB should too...but he his hands are tied.

According to the typical operations of the children’s social services in California there was a strong likelihood it would have been or at minimum a reason to remove the child to LB’s custody temporarily with her having only visitations. The children’s social services do it all the time. They’re very very powerful in this way and no one - no attorney, no child expert, no psychiatrist or psychologist has any priority standing or sway in Family Court, a separate and unique animal. And the social workers LOVE to make an issue with celebrity parents on any point they can. That’s why most divorce attys do everything in their power to keep their clients out of the CPS and Family court. Once they’re in the maw of Family court, they’ve lost control. HKS would have known this from any of his legal buds.
It’s often not in the best interests of the child, but it doesn’t have to be. The court pretty much awards it’s decision making power to the investigating social workers... who are not the same as the “while they’re in the court” social worker, who is different from the “post court” compliance social worker. Maybe in your state it’s different. KE and HKS would have been keenly aware of this.
The machinery is that way b/c the drug babies are a big money maker for the state adoptions and foster care agencies. The state collects quite a bit of money on each drug baby they can remove. So even if they couldn’t have removed DL, the machinery is in place to really torture a celebrity family with alleged narcotic drug use and a suspicious death.
Also I think you’ve taken “forced withdrawal” too narrowly. I’m not saying that ONLY an agency was forcing it. “Circumstances” were forcing it and the following circumstances were relevent potential contributers to that sense of urgency, with the primary, NO. 1 circumstance being:
(1)I believe KE and HKS were running out of ways to “get” a large, reliable amount of methadone by prescription. After the business with being counseled by the pharmacy dept at USC, she would have known that she was, at minimum, being reported for investigation of her prescribing practices.
Their ability to obtain the stuff was forcing this. And how do you know ANS was keeping herself on any maintenance regimen? If supplies were limited, then she’d be using everything and there’d be little to none left for and minimial users in her entourage and that alone would cause sympathies to dry up. Additionally, I also believe what Sunday Gardner suggested, that the boat would enable them to get drugs in and out of the Bahamas.
(2) It seems that there were other situations where HKS would have been, or already had been, ordered to produce blood, if not for DNA or custody, then by CPS as someone with contact with the baby in a alleged drug involved home. Once any agency had blood, he’d have had his blood tested for drugs and if postive, he’d have been disbarred and have ceased to be useful to himself or to ANS. Plus if it were the previously mentioned CPS requesting his blood as a household member, well, they’re formidable. His stalling would have been registered as a non-compliant likely positive, b/c the machinery is set up to evaluate druggies who avoid testing all the time, and the social workers would have had a field day with that one.
And co-produced by Anna, God rest her soul, and Daniel, God rest his soul - plus, dedicated to Daniel. Poor kid.

It looks like LB will go back to CA with the baby, with Stern soon to follow, where they will work together on Anna’s estate situation, and Stern will remain fully in the baby’s life.

If she was weak and had to be helped at 9:30 AND HE WAS IN THE ROOM, how was she able to get to the meds....and get back into bed without anyone noticing her. She had to be whacked out of her mind already.
Why was there junk in the sink? And he brushed his teeth there?? Why did KE leave and when did she make the reservation? When did KE call that same night and the next morning? Why was Anna naked? Why did he even leave and have to post TWO people with her? Why didn't Eric and Brigitte go to the boat with Howard?
There's just too many unanswered questions and they're all related to REAL TIME.

And KE could play the mommy, nannie, Dr, nurse, shrink, and medicine giver, since she took such great care of Anna!
I have a guess as to why she was naked. IMO I bet they got her in the bed and she was not changed the whole time or for days. Would go with the filthy bed i guess they didnt have time to change.

I wondered why the servibar was in the guest room, but there wasn’t one in the “main” bedroom of the suite.
Seems like if there is just going to be one little fridge in the suite, it ought to at least be in the main sitting room, for everyone to access it.
