Based on my belief that The Firm comprises about 2 dozen post-menopausal grandmothers -this particular civilization is likely to peter out in less than 40 years.
However, on subsequent exploration, the planet will be discovered to have been totally redecorated and all kitchen counters will be shown to have no clutter. Cookies will be involved.
No one has to villify Virgie, she is doing it all by herself with her demands. All of you have sunk to trashing Larry for making nice with HKS when he is stuck on that stinking island with his child because of Virgie -- not HKS.... If he wants to spend the time that is being drug out with his child he HAS to make nice with HKS.
At this point I would tell Virgie to pound sand and she would never see that child if I had anything to say about it.
He publically stated she could be grandmother and see the baby and be part of her life, but virgie wants more and more and that is going to equate into a full blown custody trial just as OQ told Nancy Grace over six weeks ago they were going to do... if Virgie wants to play hardball, that is exactly what I would do as well...
Virgie villification continues unabated.

I leave my TV on the Weather Channel or Fox TV. Fox just showed that big mouth and Bawa making announcements, cover-ups ‘splainin’ and other rubbish. This is entertainment?

She is fighting for legal standing in order to bring two wrongful death suits.
Surprisingly, IIRC surviving parents and siblings of the deceased do not always have “the right” to bring ‘wrongful death’ civil suits. Even against persons who may have caused the death(s) by reason of malicious intent, negligence or wreckless endangerment/manslaughter and/or murder.
A claimant/plaintiff is required to prove that the wrongful death caused monetary loss, pain & suffering, loss of companionship and other cause(s). And, plaintiff must be the direct, closest next-of-kin.
IIRC Daniel’s surviving closest next-of-kin is his bio father, Billy Smith (not DL who is a half-sister). Billy Smith would have a hard time proving loss of income and affection because of their alienation.
My conclusion is that Virgie needs to have standing as legal representative for Dannielyn in order to claim those described loss(es) caused by Anna’s death as well as Daniel’s.
If she fails, it will be because Larry is unwilling to allow/name Virgie as DL’s custodian/guardian for the purpose of bringing to justice the person(s) responsible for the death of Dannielynn’s mother and brother.
There is no way Virgie could put a time limit on how long the guardianship could be in effect. Those WD lawsuits might take years. Also, Virgie may feel, that because Larry was not Anna’s husband he could have some legal standing weaknesses as well. I am sure her attorneys are pointing out all her legal obstacles. Virgie has a lot of grief and vengeance to work through. I do not envy her choices. But I admire her courage and respect her rights.

Correct, in Texas at least. My aunt died horribly in a nursing home and the only way my mother (her sister) was able to bring a suit was because she was executor (and only beneficiary - her son was excluded in the will). Her son was also able to file suit as her only child.

The lady seems to know what she's doing. She came up with a great solution. Now i've got to find the fabric. Altho, she berated me for not picking the fabric before the paint. And told me that the living room and kitchen colors clashed (which is true), but she didn't have to SAY it. She did make some nice complements about some of the other colors and the doors. But i got the impression she wasn't all that impressed with the place.

Of the two, Virgie Arthur made a much better parent for Daniel than Anna Nicole.
