Depends on if you're cute ...and always put the toilet seat down. *chuckle*

Hey those were both requirements of any guy that wanted to re-marry my mom. :)

Hey Shimmer... I’m always lurking here and there. I’ve been working quite a bit (private case) but usually have access to the puter. Hope all is well with you! :)

Those are the least requirements, I"m sure. If I ever get married again.... I think I'll write a book on all the bad dates I've endured. I'll devote a chapter each to the "finger sucker", the "raunchy rancher", the "demented Doc", "the consumate cusser, etc. I could go on...but then... who would buy the book? *chuckle*

The few times I have been asked out I much prefer the straight do you fancy going for a meal or drink than a lot of preamble.

One chap was totally honest with me and asked me out but told me that he had quite deep feelings for me. I was totally honest with him and told him because of religious beliefs it would not work and I turned him down.

I work with him and I feel because we were totally honest with each other it has never affected our working relationship, recently I have been working more and more with him more almost as his manager and there is no problem and it works fine.

The moral of this story is that it is not the end of a friendship or working relationship if either person says no to going on a date as I would consider this chap a friend.

The other experience I have is that of when I did go out with someone again someone who worked with me this started with simply him asking me out for a meal in return for helping with him as a project at work.

At the time I took it as purely and simply as a friendly gesture and not as a romantic one because again the fact he was not a Christian would have been a barrier. He had feelings for me which I was not aware of and I went out with him and basically our relationship did develop into something more but eventually the differences one of them religious did mean that we did not make it as a couple.

Though once again we have remained friends and although he no longer works with me I would consider him my best friend and we met at least once a week.

Again the moral of this is that even if the relationship does not work out if we are honest with each other about the differences and reason why it will not work long term I believe a friendship can be salvaged and can often be a very deep one as you know so much about each other.

Just my two pennyworth and I know it does not work for all but it does for me.

Bravo! I am no longer single, but I have always gone out with a man at least once, when they use this approach.

Very sorry for your loss. I have been married only two months and I don't know what I have done without him all these years.

You are moving to a new town? Use that. You will need to know where to shop, take your dry cleaning etc. Woman like to help out. I went out with a man once who I kept running into at a laundry mat. He was very low key, asked me how to wash a few things and after a few times we would chat while we waited and folded.

It did not lead to marriage, but he was a very nice man and we had a nice relationship for awhile. You have to date some to find out what you don't like in a mate.

My wife trained me to put the toilet seat down. She put a piggy bank on top of the toilet. Every time I left the seat up it cost me a quarter. Took about $5.00 to force me to rememeber. LOL!

Go up to a girl and say “ My magic watch tells me you are not wearing panties” and when/ if she says she is, say” Darn it, My magic watch is running an hour fast”
If you try it, make sure her hands are full.

Well I am glad I could help. Good luck. I got married for the first time two months ago. I am 43. If it can happen for me, it can happen for anyone. :)

Depends on if you're cute

Kittens are cute, puppies are cute, baby ducks are cute..........

I don't know that I'm cute but I'm not fat, I have all my hair, all my teeth and I keep the toilet seat down to keep my cat from fishing..........

PLUS, I have pretty good health insurance.......
