Standard notation for a complex number is z = a + ib, where a,b are real numbers and i = sqrt(-1).

That said, I would not want to see sqrt(2), pi, or some of the nastier constants. (Although...pie is quite delicious.)

When you have more relevant numbers memorized (ssn, license number, phone number, address, etc.) let us know. ;-)
