Many conservatives arent happy that John McCain is the Republican nominee. Many of these people may be planning to vote third party to send a message to the Republicans. Others might decide to sit this one out, rather than vote for someone like McCain. Both of these are bone-headed ideas to the extreme!
This site has been created to help conservatives get over themselves and do the right thing. And the right thing is to hold your nose and vote for John McCain to become the 45th President of the United States.

McCain supports cap-and-trade. He also favors amnesty for millions of illegals. How is refusing to vote for another opportunistic Socialist Lite RINO "bone-headed to the extreme"?
McCain opposes the overturning of Roe v. Wade and supports the terrorist bill of rights. I can’t hold my nose tightly enough to vote for Juan McLame.

Ah, you're thinking like a conservative. (And this is a conservative site, so that's appropriate!)
But you're not thinking like a Republican Party shill.
If you think like a Republican Party shill, voting for McCain BECAUSE HE'S NOT THE DEMOCRAT makes sense.
Got that?
I'm writing in "The Ghost of Barry Goldwater", myself. Seriously.
This is the best the GOP can come up with? How sad.
Exactly.
“I’m writing in “The Ghost of Barry Goldwater”, myself. Seriously.”
A wasted vote. Why bother?
Forget it. There isn’t anything that will change my mind about McCain.
Six years from now, with an Obama Supreme Court, you will find out.
Eight years from now, when a radical Islamist Iran has Aunt Gertrude in New York within range of its nuclear-armed ICBM's, you will find out.
As far as illegal aliens, McCain's Number One priority is securing the border and not deciding any other issue until that is done.
What is Obama's position on that?
As far as "Cap & Trade", let's weigh the issues .....
What's it going to be?
Having Cap & Trades that can be repealed as soon as they are seen to be dumb ideas or living under the Doomsday threat of Iranian nuclear-armed ICBM's controlled by suicide martyr Islamist nutjobs that believe that dying in a U.S. nuclear counter-strike earns them an Eternity in Paradise just as long as they nuke you and your entire metropolitan area 60 seconds before they themselves die?
Jeez, that's a tough one.
Decisions ... decisions...
In ten years, when the GOP candidate is where Obama is today on issues, and the Dem is even farther to the left, what will you be thinking?
45th President? Is Bush going to be impeached and Cheney become president?
Supreme court will be exactly the same with either President. Israel is begging Iran for an excuse to turn them into a parking lot. Cap and trade won’t be repealed because liberalism is never repealed.
And saying he won’t do anything until the border is secured is just flat out intellectually dishonest.
Actions speak louder than words. And, in Mr. McCain's case, his actions have been utterly despicable.
Let's see how his positions change if he is elected alongside a Democrat or RINO dominated Congress.
Two words:
Supreme Court
I may not be totally thrilled with the judges McCain nominates, but their is no doubt I would be horrified with the one’s Obama would.
That reason alone is enough to talk me out of some symbolic protest.
Not true.
Barack Hussein Obama, says of his nominees, We need somebody whos got the heart, the empathy, to recognize what its like to be a young teenage mom, the empathy to understand what its like to be poor or African-American or gay or disabled or old and thats the criteria by which Ill be selecting my judges.
John McCain says of his nominees, The duties and boundaries of the Constitution are not just a set of helpful suggestions. They are not just guidelines to be observed when its convenient and loosely interpreted when it isnt. In federal and state courts there are still men and women who understand the proper role of our judiciary and I intend to find them and promote them. My nominees will understand that there are clear limits to the scope of judicial power.
McCain’s lifetime rating from the American Conservative Union is 83.
He has been ranked favorably by other conservative organizations: National Federation of Independent Business — 100 percent; Concerned Women for America — 100 percent; Family Research Council — 100 percent; National Tax Limitation Committee — 94 percent; Citizens Against Government Waste — 91 percent; and the National Taxpayers Union — 88 percent.
Citizens Against Government Waste
2008 Congressional Pig Book Member List
Obama 97.4 million dollars in pork
McCain 0.0 NONE
That's bullpucky. Have you read the recent reports from undercover attendees at recent closed sessions between McCain and LaRaza? He tells them that he's going for comprehensive immigration reform (aka amnesty)--doesn't even mention border security. He's playing you and everyone else with the border security bs.
He'll be thinking "Vote for the Obama-clone with an R beside it's name. The alternative is Karl Marx."
The fact that many conservatives can’t stand McCain (for many good reasons) and may not vote for him has made the RINO backtrack on some of his liberal positions.
If McCain thought he had the conservative vote in the bag he would go full tilt boogie to the left.
Let’s “say” we ain’t gonna vote for the skunk and then trust that, come election day,we will all do the right thing for America—whatever it may be.
As of now,the debate keeps McCain unsure and more likely to make more conservative committments.
It ain’t much but it’s all we got.
