Good evening, and welcome to the new week's thread.
We enter the last 3 weeks of the campaign, 1 debate to go, and a reported very large ad-buy by the McCain campaign.
Something, something... must happen soon to re-energize the R ranks and the candidate himself, altho NOT his running mate who continues full steam ahead.
In Nobama news, ACORN and his Rezko ties continue to draw some scrutiny, and perhaps by Patrick Fitzgerald in Chicago.
An oh yes, there's the economy and the markets, both here and worldwide...
Fortunately for you and I, we have no way of knowing who did this to her. I’m putting all of my energies into getting her whole.
I’ll be most happy to post a lovely “after” photo of her. :)
Sad. I just saw Paper Moon a couple of weeks ago, an enjoyable flick.
That is so sad. O’Neal has made some awful choices in this life. He’s passed it on to his son, too.
Nobama had been grousing about vouchers and how bad they were. He ended and then John said,
There aren't enough vouchers, therefore we shouldn't do it, even though they're working. I got it!!!!
And John laughed.
I feel very much better! Thanks for finding the link for me.
Did you keep up with that rocket-fast thread?
Yesterday a self-employed guy called the Mark Levin program and said if Obama gets elected he and every small business guy he knows are going to dissolve the business and “go cash” - - he'll pay his employees in cash and not report his income to the government.
Atlas will Shrug through Civil Disobedience
Good morning.
Fox News doesn’t agree, but I thought McCain was fantastic!
CNN thought McCain did best.
Go figure.
I hope there’s an October surprise.
Good morning. RAT spokesman on Fox just said “the people don’t want to hear about Ayers.” This particular people does indeed want to hear about Ayers. And Acorn.
another small businessman called into Limbaugh's show sounding the Joe the Plumber theme and said he and his fellows in the area - s.c.entral OR, (a nice conservative area)- are taking actions now to deal with the Obama/Pelosi/Reid effects...He slammed that hiring tax credit idea Obama is using as "insane"
Back to bed for me...cold is back as I overdid it yesterday. I should have known better than to take that second bike ride of the day, but it felt good at the time and sure helps with the tension & anxiety!
Good Morning!
Good morning everybody. Take care of that cold MOlly, hopefully I’m feeling like I have a bit more energy today. It’d better last for a while as the cupboard is getting pretty bare. I was able to go to the dinner last night, had a good time. It was nice to have somebody else pick up the check for once.
I didn’t watch the debate, but read Michelle Malkin’s recap over on her blog. Maybe I’ll catch Rush’s reaction.
Have a good day everybody.
Good morning All. Company began arriving yesterday and more arriving today, my house will be full of fun and good conversation...NO POLITICS.
I heard on F&F this a.m. murfa is running around PA say parts are racist. Trying to shame these people into voting for mobama by calling them racists if they don’t vote for the fellow? What a bunch of tripe!
Well gotta get started....make breakfast, then begin putting things together for tonight. Talk (?) to y’all later.
Am going to do some more yard work today, that B12 shot the doc gave me yesterday really started my body motor but boy oh boy, did I ever sleep last night. Will spread some more dirt today, my dogs l-o-v-e to dig and we have a bunch coming over from our church Sunday afternoon for some bugers and things, gotta get the yard looking good being they all think I am ‘a saint’, yeah, sure, OK. I am the guy who sits on the last row and the first chair every Sunday, officially called ‘Toby's Chair’, all churches have that one person who has that ‘special chair’.
NOW, the debate, maturity VS the ‘bull stuffer’, if you get my drift. I think McCain did a wonderful job, not meeting some in the press standards or Bill Press’, maturity, maturity, maturity, we ALL here understand that one word. But tell me, how can so many be sold on Husain’s lies. One does not, the new American hero, the Plumber, instant new voice who spoke what so many of us think. I don't want my wealth spread around either, old coots like me needs every penny we can dig up.
Lastly, for the survival of this country McCain is a must and I am PRAYING and this I mean too, for McCain to win.
Boy, I am being wordy today, excuse me for ranting so much.
TOBY
Hi Molly! Sorry you are getting a cold - be sure and get some extra vitamin C!! Know what you mean about getting in some exercise to relieve the tension - hubby and I went for a walk last night after the debate. We thought McCain was better this time and THAT ONE was his usual smug self. The shot of THAT ONE grinning from ear to ear and shaking his head while McCain talked about voter registration fraud - it just infuriates us. Had to turn off Fox News when they started talking about the debate as a tennis match - McCain running all over the court and THAT ONE just lobbing them back from the baseline. Grrrrrrrrrr....
My daily dose of EIB starts very soon - usually that helps me feel more positive!
I receved your ics but couldn’t open them. ( I think I have a virus here at the center.) I din’t know the sweet girl ha aumor. Oh my! Her treatment before you rescued her makes my blood boil. You are a wonder to rescue. God bless you.
