THE FACE OF EVIL (I'm still shaking)

Posted on 11/01/2008 9:46:44 PM PDT by MrChips

I am still recovering. Tonight I was invited to a party at the home of some friends. Nice people there, for the most part. Lots of food, wine, beer. Former students of mine, now in college, were there. All very nice. A fun social gathering. A mildly liberal crowd with a few conservative Republicans sprinkled in. We were all avoiding talking politics, anyway. But then, rather late, just as I was preparing to leave, some guy across the room slandered Sarah Palin. I responded with a very mild, friendly, "I rather like Sarah." That's all I said. Suddenly I was the target of the most vitriolic tirade out of someone's mouth you have ever heard. The guy went on and on about how evil I was because I was a Republican, how they had ruined the planet, how I was a piece of S@#t, a lowly scum, a jerk, etc. and other such languge. He got bery personally insulting. I was in shock, saying very little, trying to weigh his ignorance, trying to remain civil in a public setting, someone else's home. A few "I'm sorry that you feel that way" as I hobbled my way on crutches (I was injured recently) into the next room to say my farewells to my hosts. But I was deeply offended. And yet, it was more like I was in shock, having been accosted by the devil, himself. It was like I needed an exorcist in the room. I half expected the man's head to start spinning around and hurling green vomit. In short. It was frightening. Truly. And it is hard to understand how some people can be so utterly full of hate and venim. Then it occurred to me: this is what we are up against. Pure, mindless hatred. Do I dare call it evil?

I get it at work all the time, as the sole Republican. I just ignore it.

I always just say, “Remember that if it ever comes down to force, I know how to speed load my .38 and put 6 rounds within a 1 foot target at 15 yards.”

It takes them about 1 minute to understand what I said and by then I’ve left.

You’re right - Obama doesn’t have a sense of humor and takes himself waaay too seriously. The ego, lack of humility and sense of humor all add up to a borderline dangerous persona.

It’s laughable really, the little jerk has bought into his own press, hook, line and sinker. (shakes head)

Hang in there!

Try a therapist who is Christian, but not necessarily Catholic. chances are you will find one who is pro life and most likely conservative.

and don’t feel embarassed to ask the therapist before you start, “ are you conservative? “ You will get a response, and then you can explain, you don’t want to talk politics in your therapy, but you would feel more comfortable with a conservative.

You obviously haven’t been subjected to these kinds of people before, but yes they are irrational, dangerous and evil.

If you were shaking..it was because you were verbally abused.that is tough to take, especially when you get sucker punched.

No.

That hatred you faced is the way they live. The way they think. Every minute, of every hour, of every day.

Until they either die (and face the Truth) or change.

to Mr. Chips, I will read rest of comments tomorrow, but as one of my favorite radio guys says, “these obama supporters are GROTESQUE, and I agree , that they are either gullable, ignorant, brainwashed, or part of the elite that will benefit financially as a Marxist political beaurocrat under his admininistration should the unlikely event occur that Obama is elected. Some of them are, frankly, soul-less subhuman rot. Don’t lose any sleep, that moron was only successful in defining who they are, than who you are.

Yes, I do have friends who are voting for Obama. It is difficult to know how to react to “friends” who want to raise my taxes and steal my liberty.

It is one thing to have disagreements but it is another thing to use language like that. Before I got to the part about crutches I was thinking that there is no way I’d take that from someone, especially in public. Then I thought there’s not much the poor guy can do while on crutches but I rather like your idea!

The best part is, that person thinks that YOU are the evil one. You should have pretended to make a call on your cell, then told the loon that a rendition team was en route. They would have probably believed you.

The dude was probably drunk.

Don't be so sure about that. Drunkenness may have been responsible for the profanity, but I've seen this kind of unprovoked ridicule of Palin (and Bush) again and again in completely sober circumstances, by liberals who didn't know or care that not everybody agrees with them. These supposed lovers of "diversity" spend so much time in the echo chamber of the Leftist MSM that they feel safe putting their intolerance out in the open.

You know I had this happen during the ‘04 election and it WAS the host. I had some fun verbally torturing him and the rest of his tiny-brained guests for a few minutes and then left.

I’m sure that they laughed amonst themselves about the “unhinged wingnut” after my departure. The host didn’t try to contact me for two weeks. When he did he didn’t apologize but rather tried to pretend it never happened.

I’ve never spoken to him since.

There is power behind Barack Obama's campaign
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2096674/posts

There is not a doubt in my old head that demonic powers are loose in our land, that satanic brilliance is at work on Barack Obama's behalf. How can I be so sure? ... Mesmerized crowds are not enough to be sure, but Obama's past behaviors tell us what we need to know.

While in the Illinois legislature, while a member and then chairman of the judicial review committee, Barack Obama worked to block bills which would have extended medical treatment to alive children forced by an abortionist to be born prematurely. When asked about this past work, Barack Obama's campaign--and even he specifically--tried to characterize these efforts as 'seeking to protect Roe v Wade'. [That was the Supreme Court decision allowing abortion in all fifty states, which, when coupled with the soon issued Doe v Bolton ruling, swept away any states' authority to limit abortion killing.]

Why is Barack Obama's effort to protect killing by forced premature birth then neglect of the struggling child so important in understanding the man? ... Because what Obama was seeking to do was protect a particulary demonic way abortionists were killing alive children. And it was a growing national disgrace, as evidenced by the United States Congress eventually passing a bill to stop it!

The forced premature birth then killing by neglect method of terminating pregnancy was becoming popular, particularly in abortuaries where a fetal tissue harvester was working to 'collect' tissues for research programs!

Hearings at which this demonic method of aborting alive babies was discussed focused upon two reasons for the move to abort using this infanticide methodology:

1) the not yet born but very much alive child is not killed in the pregnant female's body then extracted--hopefully getting all the parts--so the abortionists isn't sued for 'malpractice' (odd that, attaching mal to murderers and calling it 'practice');
2) by birthing the preemies at age 18 to 30 weeks then allowing them to struggle and die unattended, alone, the tissues of these just murdered children are more 'pristine for research' ... the methods to slaughter alive children in their mother's womb tend to scald, dismember, or poison the child in order to kill them in utero, and that 'degrades the fetal tissue'.

Think about Barack Obama's pleading when first asked about his work to block Born Alive Infant Protection bills: he stated in so many words that he felt allowing such personhood recognition of these prematurely delivered children would end abortion, then he corrected himself somewhat and stated that allowing these bills to be passed would severely weaken Roe v Wade and perhaps end a woman's right to choose!

What he told us with that pleading was: he is more than willing to defend infanticide--because that's precisely what this method of killing newborns is, infanticide, murder of newborns--as a means to empower himself politically! THAT is demonic. THAT is the overt face of evil in our midst!

Is Barack Obama the anti-christ? ... I would say no, he's not yet powerful enough nor has the world deteriorated sufficiently for him to be 'The' anti-christ. BUT his eager service to evil where it can empower him IS the active, working spirit of anti-christ.

Barack Obama is a very dangerous man and by some unseen influence his zeitgeist is numbing the rational attention of Americans able to vote him into ultimate power over America. Barack Obama's rise to prominence has demonic empowerment written all over it, and the hypnotic effect he has on otherwise rational people is a frightening evidence of the demonic empowerment of this man who is more than willing to protect killing newborn children as but another form of 'a woman's right to choose' ... choose murder of an alive child. [Now where have we read about such demonically inspired behavior, the sacrificing of alive children to a demonic spirit? ... Moloch ring any bells?]

***********

What you experience, whether you want to believe it or not, was no less than the spirit of hate being increased by powers who do not have mankind's welfare at heart.

I had a similar incident recently at my ex-stepson's home during a birthday party! The spittling hatred and vile words spewed out about Governor Sarah Palin were so opposite the Christian woman she is, you have to accept that you've heard from hell's voice using the voice of a human in your midst!

yep... one of the greatest ways to snuff out a cry-baby whiner... laugh in their face and walk out... libs will quickly reach critical mass and flame out.

Greatest part is that they'll be angry they got owned in such a matter 'till the End of Days.

On crutches? Then you were lethally armed!

[Long John] Silver whipped his heavy crutch out of his armpit; balancing on one leg, he hurled the crutch at Tom's back. It struck poor Tom with stunning force, square between his shoulders. No sooner had Tom fallen to the sand than Silver, agile as a monkey, leaped on him and buried his knife twice in Tom's ribs.
