Seems like the libs should be much farther ahead than they are. What's with all this vote scrapping? gnawing, biting and scratching to get a dufus like Franken elected? The stupid libs are doing all this for Franken-furter? vote-stealing in Georgia, where Atlanta votes? AND WITH ALL THE ANTI-FAMILY PROPOGANDA, YOU STILL CAN'T MANAGE A WIN AT THE BALLOT BOX WITH A TRIVIAL ISSUE LIKE GAY MARRIAGE?
Will the left damage the country? Oh yes, they will. But it looks to me like we are far from being a Socialist nation. Already, without Eclair even taking office, he can't impose his will on his followers? Change.gov, changing their stance on "civil" service?
There is no individual on this planet more selfish than an American liberal. They are so spoiled, the word "sacrifice" isn't in their vocabulary. There's no way in hell Eclair will "force" service on them. You watch. Eclair is setting up to be the most despised President in American history. He can try to blame Bush all he wants to, the fact is he can't get one radical American to do anything. They voted for him on the premise that HE will do something to fix it, not the other way around.
It does make me wonder whether socialism would ever work in America at face value. The minute these liberals have to start sacrificing their cell phones because they can no longer afford them, that's when they'll turn on Eclair.
“Eclair?” Really? *Rolleyes*
It all depends now, whether Republicans are ready, willing and able now to return that same treatment, in spades.
“Compassionate Conservativism” and appeasement (let’s call it what it was) is the absolute worst thing Republicans should be doing. Bush had just about everything wrong.
He was wrong to jail those border agents. He was wrong to call patriotic Americans “vigilantes”. He has stood silent while Democrats set agenda, after agenda, after agenda - losing every branch of government in the process.
Bush did, it seems, one. One thing right these last eight years. He kept us safe.
For that, he qualifies as a good president. But as a leader of the party, he was a complete washout.
We need to hammer democrats. Get Palin out front. Stop worrying about being seen as “extremists”, and start fighting.
Right. Now.
The Dems simply cheat: from registering dead people, to magically producing absentee ballots, to registering house pets and the entire Dallas Cowboys team in Ohio...of course, they’ll win. BUT not win big which is a miracle.
Now it’s the duty of the GOP to filibuster and break BO’s back the same way the Dems did to Bush for 7 years.
Also, can anyone name just one Liberal group that feeds the hungry, clothes the naked or houses the homeless?????
(gumm’t doesn’t count)
PETA?
I know it’s cr*p - the stuff in the tabloids but is there any credible info on how President Bush is doing? He seems fine in his public appearances.
Don’t forget the Dems consistently do not count the ballots of our military.
I believe that millions of mail-in ballots were chucked in various areas. “Which ones” were decided by “your registration”. Why even think it? Because 52% is simply too high. I also believe Obama “sabotaged” Clinton....And her appointment amounts to “the coverup”.
Republicans need to do more than filibuster.
It’s time to raise h@ll. Blast every failure, repeatedly and loudly.
Complain.
Point fingers. “It’s Pelosi’s Fault”. “It’s Obama’s Fault”. “Rahm Emanuel is mentally unstable”.
“Barney Frank is a socialist”.
Say it! That’s why McCain lost. He refused to correctly identify Obama as a socialist. Why in the world would McCain NOT identify his opponent - a socialist - as exactly that?
If he wasn’t willing to. How in the world could voters have been expected to actually know they were electing a socialist. Most have no idea.
Republicans need to get off the dime, and start fighting back. Every day.
As Obama said: Get in their faces!
It wouldn’t hurt, if someone could convince Fox News to stop acting like they work for Obama.
I just find the libs are wasting lots of energy. If these dingbats don’t get 60 seats, I would equate it to throwing an 80 yard pass and coming up with a field goal.
PETA has been known to euthanize animals plus they’re an activist type group in that they assault people so I don’t think that qualifies unless there’s a hidden /s/ switch in there :)
LOL I came up with it on my own. I guess I’m “street-smart”!
With newspapers the size of a stamp and all but dead the thhe msm soon to follow and they know it.
Fifty-seven seats, plus Snowe, Collins, and Specter.
They already have their supermajority.
Snowe, Collins, and Specter need relevance. Voting with Dems will render them irrelevant. Next cycle will seal their fate.
Exact-amundo. I've long since stopped caring whether I offend some damned Utopian. The hell with them, they're not worth the aggravation.
Good grief! I hope he pardons the border agents, but for crying out loud a lawful jury found those two guilty.
Despite what the Left would have us believe, President Bush is not a dictator.
