Ok folks here's the new thread for the new season.
.................................................................................Set in Washington, DC, "Day 7" opens four years after Season Six with CTU dismantled and JACK BAUER on trial. Bauer's day takes an unexpected turn when former colleague TONY ALMEIDA returns. Meanwhile, newly elected President ALLISON TAYLOR leads the country alongside White House Chief of Staff ETHAN KANIN and First Gentleman HENRY TAYLOR.
A national security crisis prompts an investigation by a team of FBI agents including JANIS GOLD, RENEE WALKER, LARRY MOSS and SEAN HILLINGER. Although CTU is no longer, CHLOE O'BRIAN and BILL BUCHANAN are back for another momentous day of shocking events.
But the big question is:
Will Carl have babies before the “day” is over?!
Jack eventually dies of the exposure, but not before a death-bed wedding between he and Freckles. This wedding infuriates Larry, who retaliates against Freckles by charging her with treason. Freckles is forced to go underground, and simultaneously tries to avoid arrest while attempting to stop a new terrorist attack by a different African nation that is upset with America for failing to deliver the additional 600 mosquitoe nets that Madame President had promised.
nice writing....except for the part where Jack comes back from a near death, declared dead, experience....kills larry and remarries Freckles.
I think it was just some sort of coolant to keep the really nasty stuff chilled.

Bill ‘undeads’ and tells Jack that in lieu of wedding his one true love (a really nice lady who blogs from PA) he will ‘take care of freckles...’ once Jack goes to the big CTU in the sky.

Next week will be 10 minutes of medical drama for Jack then he'll be back doing what he does best....taking down the bad guys

That’s what I thought. Some kind of coolant or neutralizing agent. I don’t thing Jack’s got it, but they’re going to put us through the wringer before telling us.

The irony is the actor playing “Carl” was on Star Trek and he was killed off on that show too!
The actress was on maternity leave during this stage in filming and will return for the final 4-6 episodes. Last week’s scene with her was added in later.
Continuity ERROR. Jack tells Tony that the text message said in port C at 10:15, but my high definition signal from last week showed the message said 10:30.
It was to then Secretary of Defense Ethan Kanin...right after Philip Bauer got BBQ'd.
Yes he played Tripp. Looks like he might go from Tripp to R.I.P.
