I’m a huge country fan and this little girl is now my favorite - it wasn’t the greatest performance but in my humble little ole opinion, the best of the night. And I love how Simon said it wasn’t his cup of tea - hell he didn’t like Carrie Underwood and look how that’s turned out - Grammys, ACMs, CMAs, and 6 #1 songs.....

She looks like a young Cindy McCain.
Her song choice is Martina McBride's "This One's For the Girls". Not bad. But she gets noticeably shrill near the end.
Kara: You're definitely a Country girl. Had some issues. Flat notes.
Paula: You take the prize for best outfit [kiss of death]. I think you did a good job. You're adorbable.
Simon: I think you probably did the right thing tonight. I'll be honest, half way through I couldn't wait for it to end. Kind of shrilly. Strange things happen on this show. Lot of people like that kind of music. Just not my cup of tea.
Randy: I love Country music. You dialed in who you are. Not your best vocal performance. Little bit of nerves jumping off. But you told us who you are.

How very sad, that her father had to make a complete fool of himself. I mean, wouldnt a simple hug and an “Im so proud of you, Honey” do just as well as trying to impersonate Jack Poalance at the Academy Awards? GEESH!

On second thought what a brilliant idea...maybe then the country would wake up.The country is not going to wake up anytime soon, unfortunately. It helps to remember that the dead center average, top-of-the-bell-curve IQ is 100, and that half the population has an IQ lower than that.

just perfection as far as I’m concerned.
A close second for fluidity and softer beauty in Karen Carpenter
