Take a page from the Lindsay Graham playbook. Lindsay is the biggest suck up in America and will do things to curry favor with the Dems that even some Dems won’t do. This of course will mean you have to say and do things that you would be ashamed of in the sober state, and your friends will eventually leave you. The point is, if you want to suck up to your boss, you may be the one that needs to drink the Scotch.

Single malt, as old as you can afford. There are some that are sort of “boutique-ish” and peculiar; Laphroiag springs to mind, too much smoke and peat. Stick with tried and true, such as Macallan.

I’m partial to Glenfiddich, myself. Also recommend “the Balvanie Doublewood”.

“Old Sheep Dip” single malt scotch. Excellent whiskey and a fun name.

“Whisky is the traditional drink of British farmers, and in certain parts of the country it is affectopmately known as “Sheep Dip’. From that custom comes the name of our Malt Whisky. This whisky, distilled traditionally by pot still in the Highlands of Scotland, is an eight year old malt of the very hightest quality and excellence. “

Hubby, the great GOP_Harley_Guy, says Glen Deveron, which is a really strong single malt scotch.

Get him a bottle of Glenfiddich. Last time I drank a half bottle of that (stolen of course) as a 15 year old kid, I was ill and out of commission for 3 days. You might get brownie points and a long weekend. He’ll never notice.
