No, it was beef tacos, BUT I prefer the fried chicken that is sold by street vendors. On the street in the afternoon about 1630 these push-carts set up shop. Some sell fried bananas, some sell spring rolls, others sell satay and some have veggies in a covering and deep fried, others soup and I really like the fried chicken. It tastes better than any fried chicken I’ve bought in the states. And it is about fifty-cents a piece.
They do cut the chicken differently than I do. No matter. It tastes yummy.

Good morning everybody. How I’ve missed being able to participate on this thread more, but we’ve had several shows in the past ten days or so and it’s been hectic. Tomorrow is the last of this series and then we are taking a brief journey to N. TX and will attend a music festival there....and enjoy being part of the audience! (We’re going to see a lot of really GREAT national-level talent.)
My presentation about the hidden healthcare horrors of the stimulus bill went well yesterday and I’m very pleased to report that the members of this bible study class certainly seem to lean much more right than left. (Our lesson was on Psalm 2 which is about earthly politics. So political issues were appropriate for discussion.)
Nobody there had anything positive to say about Ding Dong or his policies. And that’s a relief to me.
I’m off to get laundry washed up and get ready for (in my best Ed Sullivan voice)...”a really big shew”..tomorrow. There should be over 3,000 people attending during the course of the event. That’ll be a lot of folks to play for...

Finished shoveling a little while ago. We got about 4 inches, if that. When it started it seemed as though we were in for the long haul. That system was out of here pretty fast.
The nice thing about this time of year is that the sun can melt the snow on the roads pretty quickly, regardless of the temps.
PB... Sounds as though you've been busy. It will be good for you to step back and relax. Enjoy... but forge ahead on that laundry!

Power is back on. It was nice for a little while to lay outside on the grass and watch the stars. It is the first time in a long time that no power and clear skies have come together. It was wonderful to see the cloudy expanse of the milky way. Orion was directly overhead. Very frequently you can even see the big dipper here. Of course, you can see the southern cross, as well.
That is about the extent of my constellation knowledge. I used to know a lot, but I’ve forgotten so much. I daresay with a little studying I’d recognize them again.
I love to star gaze. It’s no expense entertainment.
